There isn't going to be any nuclear war. It's all posturing. For that to happen there would have to be a "madman" in control of a country and there isn't. There's a difference between madmen and cruel, mean, and even evil leaders. No leader is going to be willing to risk their wealth and power and their "cushy" life because any use of nuclear weapons against another country is going to result in the reciprocal immediate destruction of their own country, and probably themselves, AND THEY ALL KNOW THAT. All countries with nuclear weapons have multiple layers of safeguards built into the protocols for use of nuclear weapons, so if some nutjob leader ordered nuclear strikes, there are still plenty of level-headed individuals standing in the way. Where we are now at this time in our history, no one is going to risk being the first to launch nuclear weapons. And if no one is going to be first, there can't be someone to go second.

no i don't think a nuclear war would be good, and would hurt countless innocent people.

however, now i have the image in my head of standing in a large field alone and having a nuke land directly on my face. that'd be nice.

I posted this exact same sentiment in another thread about normies, NPC and people in power.

However… and this is a big one. All you need is a few fuck ups to annoy a few generals + the people with the power and then it's a problem. Similar to; well if I'm going down and if I can't hold onto this I'm going to take everyone with me.

After watching Threads, The Day After, the Fallout series and Chernobyl, no. You'd have to be at or near ground zero to be guaranteed a quick death. Otherwise you're stuck in a hellish, post apocalyptic nightmare. I'd rather go out on my own terms

I personally wouldn't wish for a nuclear war to happen knowing it's gonna be a slow and painful death for the majority of people and quick for the little minority who will be lucky enough to be in the blast zone.

That's where the layers come into play.................hopefully. Gotta remember, most people aren't like us, people that want to die. I can even envision the scenario of someone stepping in and killing another who is just about to launch a nuclear weapon.

Every time there's about to be a nuclear war, the stupid pro-lifers fuck it all up.

Damm, talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time! Although I suppose another way to look at it, especially on this forum, is that his timing was perfect.
My bad, forgot to mention he survived the 2nd nuke as well. So like all of our worst nightmare; like that Twilight Zone episode where the man who just wants to read, lives through a nuclear apocalypse where everyone dies and then his glass break as he starts reading a book. Absurdism philosophy at its best.

Jesus, imagine being this guy. Any time someone starts talking about nuclear war, he's like, "Been there, done that, twice".

Absolutely. The planet needs to shake us like a bad dose of fleas so it can cure itself. I despise humans and a nuclear war (ie something that spells instant death for all humans without pain cause it would be so immediate) would effect it nicely. Bring it on.

I feel like I'm probably in the "vaporization zone" anyways but I wouldn't mind a slow and painful death as long as it eventually happens in a week or two. Of course I'd never want it to actually happen for the millions or billions of innocent lives who would perish with me.

I believe nuclear war could happen though if one state in a conflict uses tactical nuclear weapons and it is mistakenly interpreted as a full on assualt by the recipient. As missile defense technologies improve some more technologically advanced nations might not consider mutually assured destruction when making decisions, especially against smaller dictatorships or non-state actors like terror groups.

No. I don't like the idea of that. For several reasons, including the whole idea that masses of innocent and/or people who just want to be left alone are at the mercy of narcissistic pieces of shit in power. Not to mention the environment and nature itself being turned into blasted ground and rubble. And if people were to not be hit directly by it, then it's going to be ugly. You will wish you died under the white light and not have survived. The radiation poisoning will be absolutely one of, if not, the worst ways to go. It can be very grisly.

taking days to months to die with random people who really dont wanna die and are devastated by seeing their family gone/hurt beside me and in pure shock in a dirty crater puking and slowly melting away while im also in alot of pain slowly decaying and spewing everywhere is not particularly appealing to me.

No, I don't like the idea of people suffering and unfairly having their lives taken away. Along with that, unless you're in the blast zone or whatever it's called (I forgot) your death will likely be slow and agonizing.
Yes…. It's funny how people assume this will be a quick exit from there misery when in fact it will trigger survival instinct beyond belief, and not to mention!! What happens to humans when they are undergoing starvation…… very … very …. Primal….
Of course some deaths would be sudden, but why would any sicko wanna sit back and watch that happen… and risk just being a head and a torso attached by a few strings. Or better yet, stomped on by a million people running for safety while they are half awake. I think these people claiming to want this do not know the severity of what they are wishing for, or likelihood of it even happening in most first world countries.
and I'm pretty sick lmao 🤣 but who wants to be " trampled " half alive , and maybe even robbed of all there clothes and belongings if people are in " survival mode "
Just sick…. Sick … sick world

No! I want them to wait until I CTB.

Covid was too much for the world.

We don't need the Americans stockpiling toilet paper and the good snacks in 2024!

Depends if it was quick and painless. I don't fancy looking around at everything on fire.

Sounds selfish but yes I'd be happy. America is trash. Actually the world is trash.
