Thinking of all the various places I could CTB in, I'd like to CTB at Center Parcs. I have fond memories of going on holiday there loads of times, mostly of when my mother was still alive. It was really after she passed away we went to Center Parcs less often before stopping for ages.
I know hotels are discussed often when it comes to finding places one can CTB in. Whenever you needed a lot of time to yourself, many people would recommend renting a hotel room for a couple or a few days (depending on how quick your CTB method was), while leaving a 'Do not Disturb' sign on the door to prevent cleaners from coming in until after your time's up.
Usually whenever people have suggested a Bed 'n Breakfast for whatever reason, some people have advised against it not only because of the trauma it can cause the staff, but because they would also have to have some awkward meetings with the police at will also be very unpleasant to deal with. I dunno if this is the same case with Air Bed 'n Breakfasts I've been hearing about more often.
Center Parcs is mainly a group of lodges (but does also have a couple of hotel like blocks). It's also a big chain in the UK, so I wonder if they have some sort of extra insurance/protection/procedures when it comes to deaths happening in their own property like most hotels apparently have. I've tried looking up on their website and sadly can't really find anything to help me figure out.
Obviously I don't plan on doing anything selfish like CTBing in the swimming area. Worst inconvenience I would likely cause is one of the lodges would be unavailable to book for a couple-few weeks. (Although it wouldn't surprise me if some people still thought that was a big no-no.)
What are your guys' thoughts? Would you think this would be okay or should I just stick with renting a room in a big-chain hotel?
