I know that this has happened a month or two ago by now but does anyone ever wish they were on that submarine? what a quick and easy death, being able to see underwater and not even knowing that you were going to die and then being reduced to nothing in less than a second

Not really. Heights scare me and the Titanic is like 12,000 ft down. As soon as the water started getting dark I'd probably go crazy. So the panic would be real.

I do envy how they died, I would prefer for the dying process to be over as quickly as possible, I see those who die a very quick and peaceful death as being fortunate as that sounds like the best way to die to me.

If they did hear cracking noises/ warning alarms beforehand, I don't think that would have been so good. Seems like they were trying to drop ballast and come up- so- I'm assuming they realised something was wrong. Plus, some reports say they were in a nose dive. With no restraints inside- there must have just been panic. I don't know. The actual idea of being gone before you really knew what was going on sounds great. I hope it was like that for them but I'm not sure. Personally, I think I'd still prefer assisted suicide at a clinic.

I would just want to die for my country so I don't have to kill myself. Maybe the death will have less of an impact, but the process is long, requires too much

I wouldn't want to experience being deep underwater where you can't even sleep properly, eat and not to mention your very private stuff.. 5 people in a little box where only 1 person was supposed to sit in. Nah thanks.

Yeah definitely — I think about it a lot tbh. But I also feel like I would not want to be in a submarine generally, so I would only get in one for the purpose of dying, therefore I would know it was coming, soo… it wouldn't be a death so quick I wouldn't know it was happening, which is a big part of my envy. It would still be quick and painless though.

I am terrified of the ocean. I never go in further than waist deep. So getting sealed into a questionable metal tube that doesn't even have seats just a pee bucket, only for the captain to pull out a gaming controller, seems like literall hell to me.

I am jealous of anyone who died instantly. I am constantly jealous of people who overdosed.

What's interesting is that they had everything to live for and every opportunity to fulfill their dreams. They didn't want to die, yet they were given the quickest death possible. How many here would willingly trade places and bring them back.

Don't worry, it took them less than a second. They didn't even feel it.
