Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

You could also try searching youtube if you haven't already, I've seen some accounts of people undergoing ECT there in the past.

I've personally never done it, but had a friend who swears it helped save her. after a session she was quite foggy for a day or two and had some nausea, but it certainly seemed to help.

her short term memory was negatively affected but she found this to be a fair enough tradeoff for assisting with her medication resistant depression.

If your psychatrist is suggesting it its probably not a bad idea. From what i understand its not supossed to be painful or anything like that and it has quite big success rate from the first article i found on internet to quote it "Eighty-five (78%) of cases reported reduction in pain while 96.3% of the patients with a comorbid psychiatric diagnosis reported improvement in mood symptoms post-ECT." Its not guaranteed but its a really good option to help in your recovery. Good luck and much love 🤗

I had 8 ECT treatments and I would like to outline that this is only my personal experience, i dont want to encourage or discourage you in any way. So I had treatment resistant depression (tried all meds in combination) and finally i gave tje green light to 8 Ects. For me, it did not help at all. I had memory loss, dont remember the weeks leading up to the ect and weeks after the treatment. I also noticed some memory issues since then. So for me, it was completely useless but apparently it helps some people.

I had it 5 times. Lost some memory and helped Mr slightly. It's worth a shot if nothing is helping

My psychiatrist thinks I should have it because all the medications that I'm on haven't really worked for me but I think my problems probably come from my situation so I'm not sure it would help.

The medication should work no matter the situation so that might be the reason she thinks this way. Obviously its your choice to make and u can postpone it until your situation becomes better and then see if the medication works. Much love and good luck 🤗
