Anyone else sleep with a stuffed animal?

Anyone else sleep with a stuffed animal and can not sleep without the stuffed animal?
I feel like mine is the only thing that keeps me sane and grounded.

Other than that i do not care about anything or anyone in this world.

Feels good when I cry myself to sleep and hugging the stuffed animal when the burden of loneliness comes.

I do! I cycle through a few. Currently I cling to a wolf plushie that's about half my body size.
I agree that it's nice not feeling alone for a moment when you start falling asleep.

I sleep with only one and its not that big XD

I have one that is that big too but I never tried cuddling it.

I am just used to the one I always sleep with as i had it for years and kind of my prized possession.

If the house was on fire I would grab it first <3

Glad I am not the only one who sleeps with one.

Also i bet your wolfie is adorable and protects you from the monsters in your head and under your bed XD

I do on occasion!:,D it's just many of mine are from Japan, and I don't like getting them dirty (I have two hairy dogs that sleep with me)

But the other day I bit the bullet and got my big Rilakkuma down and hugged him as I slept.

It gives you a sense of security.

No I have 2 dogs that sleep with me.

2 dogs, 5 cats and a husband. I usually make my way to the sofa about 2 or 3 am or so. Lol

I got allot but I only use one on my bed, lionez, that's his name, not that's its even a real word, buddy ain't even a lion either he'd a tiger but I still call him lionez as I have since I was to young to remember, I got blood sweat tears and puke and piss on that stuffed animal his head and tail are a little hard from me chewing on em for such a long time.
Anyway yea I guess I sleep with one.

Yep. A plushie from the toy shop. He looks a bit bedraggled now. But I have to be in contact with him at all times when i'm in bed. If I can't find him in the dark i get very anxious.

Doesn't give me pleasure but it's nice knowing he's not real and that it's just a stuffed toy, yea I'll fool around sometimes pretending but that's what makes it good, I got the control, at least over this.

I have tons of stuffed animals and fumos! ^_^ I always sleep with Clifford (like from the books)~ I got him when I was 2, and I still love him soooo muhc! >w< I have like 10 of him! xD Typically, I'll have 1-3 others I sleep with too. Lately, it's just been a bunny ~:)

Lol, I had almost forgotten about my plushie. I used to have a big pillow nest, like seven iirc, and a big Grogu (baby Yoda if you didn't know). For a proper mental setting, I'm a 50+ y.o. dude, and I'd fall asleep most nights with an arm over Grogu. Now, nothing but my lumpy blanket and two pillows.

Yes. I have four on my bed. Two of them are too small to hug so I usually just put them on the sides of me. It's nice feeling their company up against my arm. I hug the bigger one when nights are especially bad, but sometimes I imagine it's a person and then I get even sadder, knowing how alone I am.

I wish I still slept with one. I used to.

I don't remember if it was me or my parents but all my stuffed animals got boxed up around 6th grade. I switched to pillows, but it's not the same.

I have issues with shame. despite nobody in my family caring if I had one (like, my older 22-ish gainfully employed cousin still has dozens she sleeps with lol) I can't ever do that again. I'd end up self-flagellating over it. I'm not very big on self hatred but the one thing I shit on myself for is perceived immaturity.

It's not something I'll be getting over unfortunately.
