i was browsing the internet recently and i found out that it was the 15th anniversary of the 2011 norwegian terrorist attack recently, where anderson breivik killed 77 people. but what caught my eye was that people pointed out that he apparently has a very luxurious prison cell;
1785993072741
apparently, he has 3 rooms: one for exercise, one for study, and one for living. he even has video game consoles and a computer, although both are disconnected from the internet.

but shocking revelation that a mass murder who killed 77 people is allowed a playstation in his prison cell aside, it got me thinking that there is very little difference to that and how i live. well, i have internet and can go outside. but i cant really go anywhere because i dont have my license (although im seeking to change that)
also, its probably really repetitive, no? like he just has the same things to do everyday. thats whats it like for me. i dont really have any friends, i have online friends, but stuff i can do with them is limited.. its pretty much just play video games or discuss things on text. that isnt to downplay their importance to me though.
i have a hobby, and im pretty good at it. but to feel full i need more than just "something to do", you know?
life currently to me is just so boring and repetitive. i really have nothing to live for currently besides my making my loved ones feel bad if i died and my future, but sometimes i wonder if even thats worth it

thanks for reading

Yes, I'm 100% a prisoner, and in solitary confinement, no less. That's why I have to CTB, otherwise I'll just continue to rot in my cell.

I've heard the story about that prisoner before. Wherever he's locked up, I refuse to call that a prison!

This guy has more rooms than I do, is provided exercise equipment and study materials, AND gets video games? His place looks way nicer than my apartment.

I feel exactly the same as you. Other than some buddies on discord I don't do anything with anyone. I don't talk to anyone besides my online friends. I do the same things every day. Each day is just passing the time until the next. Many of us work so that others may enjoy the fruits of like while we're still searching. I wonder if some people are supposed to have meaningless lives, so that others can be blessed to live theirs. Idk I've been around for a while and I'm probably too cynical.

I feel like a prisoner
because I am trapped in this disabled body
and in my fortress of loneliness,
I rot away in poverty,
my apartment is very small, only one room
and messy,
I barely go outside

Thanks for sharing. More people should see this. And there's many more like him. Actual criminals, murderers, and rapists are treated so much better than those of us who simply wish to end their lives peacefully.
