Discussion Anyone else not want to die but there is no alternative?

I've attempted before, ready to die, but now I don't want to die but can't see any alternatives. I feel like it's inevitable. Anyone relate?

I can personally guarantee I will CTB at some point though. Simply because old age is not an option.

Being weak, brittle, arthritic, unable to walk, unable to do the things I used to love, unable to travel. What kind of life is that?

I feel similar. Sometimes I want to die, sometimes I want to live. I don't know about your particular situation but I think it means that your perspective on suicide is highly emotional, not rational. If your desire of CTB was a logical conclusion, it wouldn't change with time . Maybe we are not ready yet?

I can relate yeah. I want to live a happy life but I just don't see how that's possible
