I accidentally activated my bus ticket today, not realizing the fare was free because of the Rosa Parks anniversary … and I just felt like crying and felt large amounts of dread after.
Internally I know it's just 2.50… (I'm not even paying full price because I got the discounted Medicaid pass before was dropped from Medicaid)… but it just felt like one more thing after a string of bad things. (I am sick, work sucks and everyone is afraid they're going to get laid off, spent my day off feeling lousy and not even doing anything fun because I was sick…)
I guess everything just feels miserable and hopeless anymore. I just feel like I wake up with a sense of dread.
