I feel so disconnected to Americans right now and at that black America I feel disconnected from them really I grew up in the city but not the city city ghettos. But just city and I felt disconnected from the popular assertive black kids at the time I wanted to mingle but felt rejected by them and lonely.

I'm a white American, so I can't say I can relate at all to your experiences, but I don't envy you. I've had black friends who struggled with fitting in because they were too "white" in how they talked and acted. Is that what you're talking about?
