Discussion Anyone else have/had Covid?

I thought lockdown was tough, but at least I had the option of taking exercise or going to the shop if I needed to.

I'm currently undergoing an isolation period after becoming poorly and testing positive, all I want to do is go for a little walk to stretch my aching muscles and help my lungs inflate a bit - I feel I may end up with a longer term shortness of breath issue, my lungs just don't feel the same.

I'm terrible when I'm ill, worse now I have the modern-world's interpretation of the bubonic plague.

Someone hollaa that they feel the same!?

Not me but, could you maybe walk around your home a little bit? It wouldn't be the same as fresh air and completely stretching your legs but it would be a little bit.

Yes I do try, and popping my nose out the window to remind myself what fresh air smells like (jk, Covid has also taken my sense of smell).

I feel you!
I had covid last August (because of my failed attempt I ended up in a hospital and got the virus there) and it sucked!! Everything I ate, everything I vomited. No smell or taste senses and lots of coughing and fever.

I don't wish that motherf**er to anybody.

I had it march-april. Hard time breathing, exhausted all the time. I lost my bearing 100% at that time. No job, relation f*cked, been destroyed since.
Since then some of my superficial friends and drinking buddies have had it/have it. One of them died from it in hospital. He had diabetes and overweight... So its was a no brainer.

I think though Im lucky. I prolly got immunity. Been around people who had or have it... And nothing yet. (Damnation!)
