The psych meds saved my life. Yes they do have side effects but without them I wouldn't be able to sleep, eat, or even barely live. I was that messed up after ayahuasca
Which psych meds?

Last trip with lsd in december '21 went very wrong, i did it with my housemate and we were tripping for 24 hours of which 20 hours a bad trip, we where in a loop and thought we wouldnt get out of it, we also visited the a&e that day bc or breathing/heartrate was weird but ofc they couldnt help us and we had to sit the trip out, they gave us some meds to calm down a bit

But since then i have the feeling it triggered some psychotic activitys, like sometimes i see paterns or seeing things move (related to the things i saw when i was tripping) and it never went away and it is now 8 months later,

Btw do you guys think i have to say that to my psychiatrist? Like i never told her bc i think she will not believe me but idk

I would probably only say something, if there was something I specifically wanted from her to help in dealing with it.
Honestly, probably take some time with yourself first to reflect on your own about what kind of help you'd want to access - if you want a tranquilizer ('antipsychotic'), or an anxiety med that you can take irregularly / non-daily, and know also that there are people like the Hearing Voices Network who focus on working to make-peace-with voices and visions and not treat them as 'symptoms' per se.
Tell her whatever you think will get you what you need, don't let her corral you into anything you don't want, it's your mind and body.

Here's the Harm Reduction Guide re: drug tapering if anyone wants it.

Yes, you could tell him and listen to his professional medical opinion. I hope he doesn't prescribe you a cocktail of drugs to counteract the psychedelic effect.

I haven't but known people who have and read about old rockstars etc and my kind of conclusion is that they burn brighter and more productive but its short lived before they are all burned out.

Drugs and drink hide you from reality which can save your life and give you purpose but its also dangerous.

I have had other drug addictions and can kind of relate.
