Yes, partly. My looks meant I could never have a social life. It was also because of lack of social skills, but I feel that if I had been attractive I would had more confidence to interact with others instead of isolate myself. Being bullied for my looks by others made me close myself off and not want to be around others.

It's one of my reasons for CTB'ing. Me being an average (maybe even below average according to certain criteria) looking Asian male in the US is just horrible in terms of dating and relationships (not that I am interested in dating/relationships but still). Then coupled with my social awkwardness and ineptness (thanks to Aspergers), it's pretty much a death sentence in society for me.

strange to hear that. each person has his own notion of "happiness" and "relationships". for example, a 40+ man or woman may look for a couple for a relationship in the range of 18-25 and consider themselves happy. Yes, and the point of view that "the main person, not appearance" may be true, but there are those who are not lucky with genetics? and then what should they do? ctb immediately? Well, this is not allowed everywhere..
This discussion is too individual for each person, it is impossible to generalize on the basis of mass preferences.

What i've found that is we sometimes are so hard on ourselves that we just create these negative thoughts and believe that were ugly; but we look completely different from another persons perspective. Idk. But you shouldnt ever be judged or criticized for who you are and what you look like. They'll get what they deserve down the road.

Never thought of that before, especially before becoming ill, but the last few years have been hard in my body and self image with continual medications and sleep deprivation..I don't see myself as I used too and think that a relationship is well out of reach partly due to how I look...

That's black and white, it's not shallow to find a person you are attracted to who also has a good personality and is suitable for you. There's a difference between that and just choosing someone based on their looks.

Partly. I always considered myself average and everyone always says i'm not ugly by any means. However 3 decades of experience have proven otherwise. I tend to go with the facts so yeah this is partly a reason to kms.

Yeah one of many reasons, wierd looking and vomit inducing disgusting. Someone drove past me once and shouted "Your ugly" not a great thing to happen on Xmas day. I'm tired of having to walk with my head down, tired of hiding from cameras and mirrors.
If money is not a problem, plastic surgery can fix you. You might not have to die. I will do liposuction in a couple month. I hate my fat belly. lol
I have schizoeffective bi polar type on top of being unattractive. I've had a radical hysterectomy and been hit by a car and run over. It's hard to say which of my reasons comes in first place? Probably knowing I will alone and psychotic for the rest of my days.

i don't disagree, but if those who are intuitive had the ability to look like anyone they wanted, what makes them think they'd be happy in a relationship knowing they were essentially loved through a facade. it's not different from trying to act like someone you're not to appeal to others.

Well, if you're straight , it's a very understandable reason to feel suicidal. Because men are very visual creatures, and down to them will only respect you if they deem you as f*ckable.
But again, having lurked at r/femcels , I can tell a lot of people have a lot of interesting things going on in their lives (career, hobbies, self improvement, social life with fellow unattractive people) despite having troubles in their love lives. It's about finding balance.
I'm myself a very unattractive female (to the point of being discriminated at employment) and it's a huge part of the reason I want to go. It's not even the love life, it's the fact that I have to work twice than some people to prove myself that makes it unbearable for me.
So yeah, I'm basically going to ctb because I'm ugly and not gifted enough to compensate in social worth with a good degree.

What makes someone fall in love with someone is their personality. Looks get your foot in the door, personality is what sells. It's possible to love someone for multiple reasons including looks.
Fist off, misery is not a competion - and well, as a woman who also suffers a (maybe lighter than in your example) form of disfiguration - there's little to no difference in the way we are treated. I'd say people with a visible disfuguration due to an accident are even sometimes treated better and with greater compassion than "naturally" ugly people.

I'm admittedly quite a hideous guy but I still manage to get laid so my deplorable looks don't really play a part in my desire to die. I guess it's worse to be "ugly" as a woman based on how superficial guys tend to be be. No doubt looks play a role in this world, perhaps a bit too much and both genders are affected by it no matter what anyone may say.
