I definitely don't think it's embarrassing to still be one, at any age. Plus 29 is super young, even if you might not think it. You're not even 1/3 of the way through your lifespan.

I think every first time is going to be awkward. I think sex is more about giving yourself to desire and letting go your inhibitions, which would be difficult if it wasn't for literal chemicals in our brain pushing us.

Yes, but I think it's pathetic for myself to care, so I don't really care (honest, not a cope). I get the failure part, at least in my experience its not specifically about sex its more just ive been so completely incompetent ive failed to make any meaningful connections with anyone that in turn would lead to intimacy.
I have failed entirely to connect with anyone, even friends i feel more like a shell than an actual person talking to them.
