The mod team also actively shelters users who encourage others to view life as hopeless and death as good, and who discourage others from reaching out for support (for instance, by calling anti-suicide initiatives "brutal slavery").

We don't protect certain members. You can't see warnings and you don't know how the mods operate.

It's a place for people who have suicidal thoughts to share them will people who, for the most part, have similar thoughts. It's a community of ideas. Some maybe looking for methods, others to vent and some are here but still want to recover at some point. There is a recovery section on the forum for those folks. But the end of the day it's up to anybody to make the choice between life or death, nobody elses. At least, that's how I see it.

Some people are so delulu on here, they'll post threads about how this is not a pro Suicide Forum....How can you say that? When people are literally giving advice to each other about methods how to commit suicide on here etc.It definitely reminds me of the days when I was on R/SuicideWatch. And everybody was either posting about their life Stories or looking for Methods.

Most people aren't very literal. All people (without exception) run on contradictory logic. Same as people in favor of legal abortion and support abortion clinics won't call themselves pro-abortion. But instead of pro-cboice. Again same story there. They aren't telling people they should abort. But instead support ones choice to do so. They will absolutely direct someone to a clinic with the means to do so. Frankly this is hardly an argument worth having. No one's mind will be changed.

I agree with you OP they are in favor of suicide to end ones pain and will discuss in detail how to do so. Most people can't handle a literal descriptive label when it "sounds bad" to the general public. So they choose a prettier name.

Okay you probs won't like me for this next part. Which god are you swearing in behalf of? And what does it mean to swear on its behalf? You accuse others of being delusional. Yet there is no evidence to support the existence on any gods. Religions are just stories made up from other illogical humans to explain what they don't understand.

Everyone that logs on is doing it for the same reason.
Over time, some find ways to exit. Not that they were NOT going to exit, they found ways to do it better, reducing suffering in the process. That is good.
Many find other ways to manage the issues that brought them here. That is good.
Admitting suicide exists and discussing it could be taken as pro suicide but you overlook everything else that is here.

To say this is a pro suicide forum is to say that the members here are pro suicide.
As a member I have never encouraged anyone to take their, or anyone else's life.
Stigmatizing a group you don't even know by calling them pro suicide is contributing to the societal problem that leads some people to consider leaving this world to begin with.
Please don't poison this forum.
Judgment can be toxic. If you have something against this forum or the members then leave!
If you have something to contribute that doesn't demean or blindly judge this community of many who may be struggling with life then by all means please contribute. But please don't come here & make false accusations in your first days on this forum

Still trying to get comfortable on the forum and get over my "imposter" or "nothing worth saying" syndrome lol, I think I'm happy to have discussions of like philosophy or experiences about life and death, but me personally if someone came to me or replied asking for advice on methods or sources I won't. but I will ask my own questions so I have the option, and I appreciate those who answer. The world isn't a perfect place and people get desperate or alone and want a place like this. idk like, what if someone did something dangerous anyway and failed their attempt and became very damaged because of it, when if they had the information they wouldn't of had to suffer further. I mean the place is a forum for discussing suicidality and its many forms and feelings and it must be hard to moderate lol but I think whenever there must have bad actors on here the staff team has acted. Ultimately we are responsible and obligated to ourselves for our own safety, and while the line can be blury someone posting here asking for help isn't the same thing as rogue elements contacting people unprompted encouraging bad actions.

Pro suicide is saying explicitly to kill yourself. That is against the rules here. There's a recovery board. People here support your choice whether it is to live or die. Which is something we don't get in most of the world. People share methods here because we understand that for some individuals, living can be more painful than dying. In the end it's called pro choice because while we support your decision to die, we ALSO support your decision to keep living. We share methods but nobody here is forcing anyone to kill themselves.

Of course this is a pro suicide forum, maybe only a new member is not routine-blinded and realizes that "the Emperor has no clothes". But I see no problem in this fact, as long as it is not spread in public.
