People in their 30s generally wants to settle down so they seek a partner to share a life with together. Someone who can contribute by paying mortgage/rent, bills, support kids etc. Hence, you have much better luck finding a partner if you were employed.

Well I can't work because of my mental illnesses. I always hate that people look at me with scorn when I admit that as if being broke is so much fun. I would work and I would've became an accountant out of college.

I can't work either due to MDD and I'm in my 40s. no amount of money will help with my condition. Feel trapped at the moment.

I am in my early 20s and honestly I gave up on women. Nobody was ever attracted to me, women think I'm ugly, weird and generally unattractive. I don't care anymore. Earlier I began to soak with misogyny but this forum has fortunately changed my attitude. Besides antidepressants lower my sex drive and that allowed me to make my perspective on women more objective. I can't work because of my mental condition as well. Despite our difference of age I relate to your situation.

I'm 32 (I'll be 33 in two weeks) and I'm fed up with flirting. I guess that having lost all the interest in life, made me lose interest in sex and flirting.
I'm a single NEET and it seems I'll die this way next year.

How successful were you with women in your 20s?

I'd say I was really popular. My best years were my 25-28. Started living alone, girls came over, was a popular teacher and met some of my students (they were all adults, I used to teach grown ups lol).

Anyway, I felt more confident and that made things a lot easier.

Now? Well, I have a really low self-esteem and I'm unmotivated and uninterested to flirt. I guess I'll die as a lonely NEET for real.

What about you? Do you feel like/have hope in I dunno.. putting yourself in shape, meet girls, etc?

I fit the description.
I have never been in a relationship, however.

I don't think "semi-attractive" is the word, but I've been in relationships before, so I'm bearable I guess?

I'm in my 20s and I definitely wouldn't go for a relationship again. I learned that healthy people with a goal in life and good intentions for a relationship aren't interested in someone like me. I don't fit into the life of someone who's actually progressing towards a goal when I'm not. I'm not exactly capable of holding a healthy relationship either with the wreck of my mental health, so it's for the best.
