Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

i was just curious if anyone else here was a diabetic and sometimes thought about using their supplies to ctb. like taking all of your insulin at once, not treating a bad low, or just stop taking care of it all together.
a lot of the time i wake up throughout the night with bad lows. often I'll just lay there in a cold sweat disoriented and feel the crushing heaviness in my chest and hold myself in a fetal position while shivering and feel the energy leaving my body, hoping I'll fall back asleep never having to wake up again. sometimes I'll even go in and out of consciousness and its become a game to me at this point to see how long i can push it. its weirdly comforting knowing I've been a step in and out deaths door.
I'm just waiting for the day i have a seizure and choke to death in my sleep.

Hi - yeah for sure. I'm t1d and have considered, even tried, this. I've never got as far as lapsing in and out of consciousness though, I find low blood sugars trigger a very strong survival instinct.
