Bought SN with my dads credit card, told him it's for a science experiment. Would he be legally responsible after I kill myself with it?

No, because suicide isn't illegal and he wouldn't be the one administering it. But the purchase may be investigated if the police are trying to rule out homicide.

Same with if you used a rope he bought or a belt he bought or knives he bought.

There's nothing illegal of using products to kill yourself. The possibility of it being investigated is there. They would have to prove under a reasonable doubt that he guided you and administered it. Nothing in which he did any way.

I would write a note saying he had nothing to do with the purchase
