Yesterday I posted about trying to be lowkey and not wanting to be on the news near where my family lives (or at all if possible) when I ctb. For the last few days I've I've trying to think of a way that i can still be found an identified, yet not raise enough attention that I'm everywhere on t.v....plan goes as follows:

Go maybe a state over to where when I'm found my family doesn't have trouble identifying me, rent a hotel ,take the sn and be found at checkout time.....any ideas?

I've been considering this as well, especially since my original plan got cancelled due to bad weather and way to many cops around for me to sneak in. Mostly it was the cops cause the storm alone wouldn't deter me. I can tell you from personal experience that if you do it in a hotel and it doesn't involve gunshots you won't make the news. Especially if you're in an extended stay type of place. I'm most likely going to go the hotel route with an accessible room that has the strong bars everywhere

When you say "from personal experience" what do u mean if u don't mind me asking?...I'm trying to see if a hotel would be a good option...maybe a cheap run down motel where shits always happening that way its no big deal

It wasn't a rundown hotel, but it was alright for the price. It was also located in a good neighborhood. I downed almost 2 months worth of amytriptaline and librax. At one point I got sick and needed to throw up, I missed the toilet and got some on the floor. I slipped on it and hit my head on the side of the tub and knocked myself unconscious. Woke up on what I thought was the next day and found out I was in a coma for 10 days. I searched every news channel and newspaper we have and there wasn't a single word about it. I did reach out to the manager and she told me that they don't allow or contact reporters because a lot of people use that hotel when they're escaping dv situations.

I would commit in a way thats so simple, its not worth putting on the newspaper. Like just overdosing in my room.

As long as you aren't a missing person and/or the causes surrounding your death aren't suspicious, you likely won't end up on the news

Most suicide isn't news worthy.

I also thought about it, it's not unlikely if you're in a small country (or town for local press) where there isn't enough news to write about and your death is interesting in some way, like they can connect it somehow to this website. I also wouldn't want that to happen, but there's always a small chance.

If you off yourself in a large city, as opposed to a small town where everyone knows everyone's business and everything that happens is news, you stand a better chance of the story not being picked up. Most suicides, unless they're sensational in some way, aren't newsworthy anyway.

It really seems as though they avoid reporting a lot of them out of fear of 'copycat' suicides.

Yes this is true. I'm one of those people that went looking for local suicides to imitate.

Just another suicide, the media don't care.
