Any advice on SN?

I know there are many threads explaining this. I just need my own thread, it's easier for me to read and keep track of things.
I've recently joined the site and have read up about the SN method and am very intrigued.
I'm from the UK and pretty much everything needed is hard to come by.

Could anyone point me in the right direction of what to use, where to buy etc.?

Could we avoid shouting how "easy" it is everywhere ?
Great way to help towards ensuring it becomes harder to get in the future.
