Hey y'all,
Yesterday was real hard for me, but I just re-upped on my antidepressants and it's like night and day. I made this account yesterday figuring i'd post something very different today. I figured I'd let y'all know anyways that if you haven't tried them please give them a chance. They are not perfect, but sometimes they get you out of a pretty deep hole.

If you don't have insurance, there are websites where you can meet with providers and they will basically prescribe you any medication that isn't a controlled substance. You can pick most of these types of drugs at Costco. The process and the drugs costs like $65 total.

All I'm saying is if someone told me this 10+ years ago, and I had the strength to try it, I woulda spent a lot less of my twenties imagining jumping into traffic.

Most people here have tried all kinds of meds/treatments. You should've posted this in recovery.

And maybe it can make things a lot worse. They gave me PSSD
I'm sorry to hear that

They help a lot for a LOT of people. and some people are willing to trade feeling better for pssd
Like if it's suicide or a chance to get better (or still suicide if it does not work)...

I go for a chance.
Everybody makes their own decision

Having no emotions isn't feeling better. I'm dead inside because of meds and I'm far from alone. Dr's never warned me about this possibility. If only quack Dr's were honest then people could make informed decisions.
