From what I've been searching the antacids you should use for the SN method should be histamine-2 blockers, like Zantac, but apparently these are banned in Europe, you can't buy them here. Would something like Gaviscon do the trick, or should I not even bother? But how crucial are they? The suicide-wiki even says "Using antacids (also known as acid regulators) is discouraged. The antacid section of Suicide Wiki is provided here only because you will encounter with antacids in the PPH", which I don't know why they say this since in Stan's guide it is mentioned

I initially got tums, which I believe is similar to rolaids, but then checked the ingredients and saw it was made of calcium. This isn't correct. I got Phillips Milk of Magnesia because it is Magnesium Hydroxide. The link below is a thread I found useful in the supplements needed for SN.

I also wanna know why there is this contradicting information. some do recommend antiacids, while some don't.

nevertheless, I'm okay with that. SN works even by itself.
if I vomit, I'll just take a second glass. it's all good.
I'll just remember to use very little water, and fast for some hours, so it goes down from stomach to the small intestine very fast, without having some dietary fiber or fat to slow down its absorption.

I have cimetidine here, though.

I agree with you on the conflicting information part. It can be frustrating. There is also conflicting information about other stuff like beta blockers. This is why I am going to have a handgun with me as a backup. If I throw up, I will shoot myself

I know people who have had success with SN and PPeH classifies its reliability as 7/10, very close to the amitriptyline cocktail which is classified as 8/10 and highly reliable.

there's not much worry for me. the instructions are very clear.

the only instruction which I think should be way more emphasized is "be in a place where you won't be found for at least 12 hours", as being interrupted is often the reason some people fail.
I'm obviously not saying that SN takes 12 hours to act, but if I want to be successful, then I have to ensure that nobody will find me in time to interrupt me. I can even secretly call a professional to change the lock of my room's door or something like that. this type of caution indirectly increases SN's reliablity.
