I've just come across another Prevention of Future Deaths Report which appears to contain information to a person who I imagine was a member of ours.

I hate to break it to whatever government entity published this but… we all die. Reality is NON NEGOTIABLE.

I wonder how they determined this. My gut says it's probably untrue. I find it very unlikely that people stumble upon this forum and get triggered to commit suicide. Also suicide promoting website is just so wrong.

It's signed by his parents. I sometimes wonder how I would be able to prevent something like this. Say something in my suicide note. But I know that people could ignore it if it doesn't fit with their worldview. We've seem similar things a number of times before, I don't know how to prevent this. It just makes me sad.

Second. I think it may have been posted before. If not, then another coroner report.
Third. The information is out there already. Online and in TV also probably movies.
It was definitely featured on the show Mary Kills People and others.

Is it that hard for people to understand that it's being suicidal that's causing people to join the forum, not the other way round? Nobody just comes on SS happy and leaves dead.

If SS didn't exist, the same people would still be irreparibly suicidal. Except they would be be more likely to die of jumping, hanging, trains, cutting, overdose, etc. which is far worse.

I agree. When someone does find this site, it's because they are searching for ways to die. Like I said before, there is other information out there.
I'm really don't think it should be posted at all. That is just my opinion though. A couple years ago people were speculating about the death of two members... Even posting pics. (They were wrong)
I just think speculation about members without being certain is wrong. (Hopefully I haven't done that) I didn't see if we were listed as a certainty the person was a member. If I missed that, I apologise.

Social media and the internetwork in general would have to be heavily censored or closed down entirely To single out this website is simply the tip of the ice of a deep seated problem.with our relationship with life and death. Authorities would be better placing resources in preventing the deaths of people who wanted to live. Ukraine for example and the thousands of deaths. But instead, i see politicians clapping hands and displaying the Ukrainian flag.........how does that save lives?

I feel safe because I already have my method and instructions on how to use it, but I feel devastated by knowing that many people may have to resort to violent, inhumane, unreliable methods, which often cause severe permanent damage when failing.

the police and the lawmakers can't understand the basic fact that censoring humane methods doesn't stop suicide, it just pushes people to inhumane ones. it's as basic as that.

There isn't promotion anywhere although if you only click in certain threads you will enter a suicidal circlejerk to an extent. We have people in here parroting in every thread that life is pointless and death is their only comfort.

I think this probably should not be posted here. If they were a member of the site, they were behind an anonymous screen name. This is invasive of that persons privacy, even if they are not alive anymore, I feel it's disrespectful to our members here who wish a modicum of dignity.

I think pessimism is okay. by being pessimist, nihilist or whatever, you're not forcing anyone to think the same. you're not even inviting anyone to think the same. there will be those that agree with your thoughts and those that disagree, it's all okay.

I am surprised by the amount of goodbye threads here where the authors say they have just taken S.N. or N and then they reply for a few minutes and then stop responding abruptly. Something tells me they don't take the same kind of care to hide their tracks as you have laid out here.

I think in a way they don't care what happens to this site after they are gone, almost like they got their (death) wish, so why care if they ruin it for everyone else who comes afterward.

Wow this gave me chills. It is kind of true, from what I have seen.
I guess they already figure they're ruining their families lives and shut dowm what happens aftwrwards. I can paetially forgive the carelessness exposing this site, but it raises the chances N sources get shut down. Which is very disturbing to think about.

Also, in a rly twisted reality of the human condition, once others have got their N or reached their kit goal, I have seen a total drop off in communication for those who still seeking it. We live in a selfish environment with constant masks.

What do you mean by "format their computers".
Im currently in the planning stage for how I will erase data. You just mean reset the computer?

I think i will have to go through each account and delete them individually?

I can't get too excited, to be honest. Why? It's very hard shutting a website down if someone wants to keep it going. Pirate Bay is still up, for fuck's sake—and there were millions at play and very annoyed corporations.

There is literally nothing on this site that a bit of googling wouldn't turn up. And as far as N is concerned—you don't even need that. For, $10 on a street corner, you can get enough fentanyl to pickle an elephant. But yes, you can bet the N source, the longer he goes, will get busted.

Lastly, how many "promoting suicide" cases have been prosecuted, never mind successfully, in your jurisdiction? I bet you can count on one hand with fingers left over. It's mostly hysterical blather that will die down, eventually.

p.s. if you have a pc or laptop just encrypt your hard drive, a phone and tablet can simply be factory reset.

Not quite. The shit in the street is cut to hell. You'd need to snort a whole gram to probably od. When I was using it regularly, I would use a few grams a day. I'd have to do nearly a gram at a time just to keep from getting sick.

you can go to youtube or duckduckgo and search for "how to format PC". there's more than one way of doing this. it basically deletes everything.
