Every time I read this kind of news I feel a lot of respect for the person (and a little bit of jealosy) it takes a lot of courage

Am I the only one who thinks this is a shitty thing to do? Catching the bus right as everyone who loves you is about to celebrate your existence?

I'm not trying to demean her decision. She wants to go, she can. But the timing seems like such a fucking dick move. They go from the happiest for her they've ever been to all the suicide survivor and grief shit. I'm not a happy person. I want to die more than anything. But I'd at least have more respect for the people who's lives I'm about to genuinely ruin.

I don't think it has much to do with courage, rather it is the desperation that leads you to it.

It's incredible how indiscriminate suicide is. 18 and a pro level athlete.. that's 'world by the balls' standing. When I see stuff like this it really makes me wonder if she could have ridden it out and found a way through. Then again.. what the hell do I know? No one is safe.

Have you ever tried celebrating, when you felt like crying, it's such a bad feeling, maybe she could not cope with celebrating, and it potentially triggered her suicide.
I don't know, I could be wrong.

Someone else might say she should have more respect than to kill herself at all, taking a situation from what could be happy to leading others to have the grief shit. Is it disrespectful? I don't know her motivation or anything else about her life other than what some person I don't know said about someone else I don't know, after interviewing other people I don't know.

I don't wanna rain on everyone's parade here, but it does say that she is "feared" to have taken her life, aka maybe she OD'd by accident. It doesn't even say how she died. So it might just be a little early to celebrate her courage. Either way, at least we can say all her problems are over now.

Her family in another post talked about suicide awareness

Safe from what? The way I see it, you are forced to play a very fucked up game and told you are suppose to be greatful, lies from so mamy people throughout your life. What the point in suffering for something that has no proven meaning? At most all you are doing is delaying the inevitable, to play a game that may not be worth it.

Agreed, I would say nobody is safe from life. All those neutral non-existent nothings out there may at some point be ripped into existence where there will be inevitable pain and suffering, and this made worse for humans who are aware of their existence, able to contemplate this absurdity, but infused with a massive instinct to survive which serves as a barrier from escape back to nothingness. Safety may be out there, but it's not represented by life.

What do you base that on?
Scroll all the way down the feed of the article and take a look at the body builder narcissistic mother. I can only imagine what it was like for her growing up with that woman.

I'm not saying being a body builder automatically makes u a narcissist but just looking at this woman. She seemed like she would have very high expectations of the daughter and possibly abusive.

Anytime a young person commits suicide, u need to look at the mother, father, friendships, school environment. Usually it's because there's a toxic relationship somewhere. When kids feel like they can't talk to the adults in their lives, that screams that u don't have a strong relationship with your parents.

It's okay to die final escape, it's imevitable and comes to evreyone. As far as we can tell there is no purpose. Life is just desire and survival. It's not even proven to be worth it or not worth it for anyone.

I suffered with suicidal thoughts and depression in my teens and it was definitely due to toxic relationships, abuse, feeling like I was abandoned and confused. I do not think these conditions arise for no reason. Something or someone spurred it on.

The most suicidal times for me have been romantic rejection, before period, my mother was a cunt narcissist and she hurt me a lot with the sneaky ambient abuse. Manipulation tactics, mind games.

I suspect that her mother didn't like her daughter outshining her and being more beautiful. But I'm just guessing, I definitely do not know. I'm judging by the appearance of the mother and what she said under her pic. It didn't give me the feeling like she genuinely cared that the daughter died of suicide.

I don't know, I could be wrong.

Nods

also maybe this is insensitive, and certainly nothing that needs to affect her and what she chose.

but in the ancient greek olympics there were some that did that after a great showing so they could go at that high point. and there was even a cry of "die now!" that people used to cheer them. so people have thought of this differently sometimes.

and once again, not sure this aspect or angle matters all that much, her choice.

idk, will probably take this down.

also being a child prodigy is actually very hard, or can be

I don't buy it, I think something spurred it on and it was an impulsive decision.

Well does it say how she died by suicide what method she used? You seem to just be speculating when you don't have the imformation. I firmly believe pro life proganda influences your thinking atleast a little.

I took one look at the mother and it hit like a ton of bricks as to her being a possible reason for this girl's suicide. Like I said I don't know I just got a feeling like oh snap! There it is!
