i love his videos and just saw this on reddit, i respect his choice but he did great animations and is funny and it's sad to see him go, but as someone who also is chronically ill and disabled i completely understand and wish i could do the same

It's been very disheartening to see the way people are "reporting" on this online. The fact that toonhive is making a tweet announcing this is kind of repulsive on its own. Its like. Making a spectacle out of someone's suicidality and it makes it clear how far we are for broader publics to be able to accept this kind of subject matter.
The guy is very objectively talented in his art and script writing, so its a shame that physical disability among other things have begun to inhibit it. I hope he finds some sort of peace without having to resort to physical suicide, but even so I really appreciate the nerve to discuss this kind of thing publicly. I just wish generally people had enough empathy to handle it with grace rather than mockery or patronization.

It's my dream to go to Switzerland. But the law in my country regarding "assisting" suicide is unclear and no recorded case of a person in my country getting euthanasia abroad has ever been published. So my family refuse to help me and im stuck with SN
