i believe the only way for humans to be empathetic for to each other is without order. as soon as power is obtained the ones on top trick everyone that everyone below is the problem to each other
combined with my belief that humans are not designed to handle clumps of each other beyond tribalism, it makes it impossible for normies to feel bad for people they can't relate to, instead calling them "weak" or other dehumanizing terms
my friend said he hates the idea of people getting hurt in a revolution, but i think people are getting hurt right now way worse than if a revolution began. especially with the invention of the internet, the people in charge have found a way to make it consumeristic with advertisements and social media with built in entertainment to give an illusion of connection with others, leading to wide spread mental illness. they no longer needed to rely on a person sitting in front of a television to rot brains, they have us in our pockets
i don't know tho. maybe i'm just mad at how my life turned out, how i've never been apart of this "we" everyone talks about. i've always been the weird outcast, and i want everyone else to know how i've always felt. maybe they'll change, maybe they'll fall into the same hole of self-despair but with a lack of self-awareness, an even more terrifying fate as they'll never learn what they've done wrong, just feel like a victim
edit: oh there's a philosophy and politics section. i didn't notice, srry. this thread can be moved there if needed.
