Decided on making a mini puzzle series inspired by Cicada 3301 for my last note! I'm gonna hide a little solution document on my computer just in case the people around me really can't solve it but I'll add a note that they should at least solving it first. For now, here's what I have planned for it:
1. Image Puzzle
- An image that i'll be posting on my main socmed account. Although it looks normal, they'll have to tweak around the brightness/contrast or whatever of the image so they can find the hidden music account link.
2. Music Playlist
- A playlist where the first letter of each song will make up a website url which will lead to the next puzzle. I have a lot of playlists, so they'll need to go through every single one. However, if they know my music taste well enough, they'll figure this one out easily!
3. Email
- The website will show a single email address (that will be referencing my favorite ficitonal character)—which they'll have to email with anything in order to get an automated reply from said email featuring a link to the next puzzle!
4. Forms Quiz
- The link will be a small 5-10 question quiz that will test them how well they know me! And once they get all the answers correct, it'll show an unfinished social media account username, in order to get the full username. They'll have to go back to the previous email address to know who my favorite character is! However if they know me well enough, they wouldn't need to do this and should already know who my favorite character is.
5. Social Media Account
- They'll have to go through hundreds of my old posts. They'll probably think that the entire account is my last note, however if they look hard enough in my account they'll stumble upon a document which will actually have my real last note and letters for everyone.
That's all I have so far! I'm not sure if I should add more puzzles. I was going to add stuff like riddles and ciphers but I'm really too worried that they won't be able to solve it or that they won't have any fun if it's too challenging. Any advice for the puzzles will be appreciated!
