Amitryptiline: Who knows if 90 x 50 mg pills Enough to CTB?

Hi, I have my new prescription that gave me 90 Amitryptiline pills at a time at 50 mg per pill...

I'm reading here and on another site at either 750 mg of Amitryptiline, or "more than 7 grams" would definitely help me catch the bus?

So do I just literally weigh a bunch of pills until they equal more than 7 grams?

Please excuse my lack of scientific knowledge, I typically skipped math & science classes in high school ( years ago) to be with my significant other, LOL... my least favorite subjects, or perhaps that's obvious.

I took a Ami cocktail of 9g Ami, 2.5g codeine, 1g Propranalol and I am still here. I spent a week in ICU in a coma and when I did finally wake up, had all the psychological aspects of a failed attempt to deal with plus very bad headaches for months afterwards, which is why the Ami was prescribed in the first place, to help prevent headaches.

So be very careful with this method. Its one of those where one size does not fit all. Taking that little lot, I should have been well gone.

No, it's not a case of just weighing it out like that. You could be there for a while. You x the mg you have up until it's 7g. So if you have 50mg tablets, for example, you'd need 140 tablets.

Just beware, like @SinisterKid said, it's not always a guarantee.

So if I have 50 mg pills, and 1,000 mg=1 gram, and I need at least 7 grams....

20 pills= 1 gram... 7 grams would be 140 pills.... why is Math so hard for me.... Thank you Professor Math, LOL! That's very kind of you actually, and Yes you're right I should heed SinisterKid's advice....

That's very helpful and kind of you SinisterKid, thank you. It made me stop and think of how I need to be careful not just in assumptions of a 'formula' for ctb, but also if it fails and I end up in a coma instead what to change in my plans. Yikes, that's a wake up call for me in a way....

I appreciate you sharing, that must have been hard. Did anyone have you committed involuntarily to psych? (or you can PM me if you want/prefer)?

I'm assuming it would have worked then if you weren't found/didn't end up in ICU
