Am I the only Member who is a bit paranoid about other Members ‘Following’ me ?

Pretty much as the header. I already suffer from mild paranoia and it really provokes me when I get a notification that I'm being Followed by another Member.
Since there is no facility currently for me to avoid what is, to me, a concerning and intrusive practise I'm just wondering if I'm alone in being concerned that anyone who so desires can track every post I make on any thread in any section.
And, to those of you who chose to 'Follow' my posts, thanks for nothing.

You can go to Preferences -> Privacy and select "Nobody" for "Receive your news feed". That will prevent your followers from seeing the posts you make in their news feed.

I don't think that's a functionality, but if you do the above then there will be no difference between those who follow you and those who don't in terms of the way they see your posts. (nobody will be able to track your posts, that is)

Honestly, I don't think about it.
Another thing is that if someone has some bad intentions towards me (for some reason), I think they will act more subtly.

On the other hand, reading my comments can be like medieval torture, so good luck.

I notice you have the default title under your username. You might change it to please don't follow me or something similar, people might respect your request. Users sometimes use that space for requests and stuff.

It could also be a provocation to trolls or irritants to deliberately target me just for the lolz. I was in two minds about making the post for that very reason. However I hoped that the thread would pass from general notice soon enough.
