Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

you're definitely not a bad person for that honesty i can guarantee that. I've felt really similar to you. it has never moved me when my loved ones tell me how much they would miss me etc. unfortunately their words are not enough to fix the huge pain than causes us wanting to die in the first place. i think it's completely fair and understandable to not want to live for others happiness

The way I see it is you need to be selective on how you're selfish, living a completely selfless life is just self-destruction. It's like first aid - prioritize yourself before you help others, I think it also applies to suicide.
You can either spin it as selfish for wanting to leave or selfish for making you stay. If death is the best thing for you it is selfish to make you stay, it's similar to putting down a pet - tragic but it was necessary.
I dislike suicide being labelled as selfish as it is a personal decision and should be made independent of outside factors. To answer your question; No, you are not selfish for not caring, it is your decision after all and it's difficult to understand your reasons from an outside perspective. You control your own life, you know what's best.
Living for others isn't a permanent solution and can be pretty self destructive, you aren't a bad person if you CTB - I don't hold that decision against anyone I know who has gone through with it. You control yourself and life, don't obsess over what others want and feel - it's not their life to control.
No, it's society's fault for making you feel like you have to care about them to the extent of overlooking your own desires.
I see it this way - literally none of the people who told me I should live were there to help me pay rent, or get out of my abusive family situation. So how could I care about what they say when my own life is so miserable I seek death as salvation?
We as humans are inherently selfish in many, many ways. Your thoughts are absolutely valid, and I relate to them too. Sometimes you just reach a point where other people aren't enough. They don't hold you up, and you honestly don't want to feel dragged by the thought of owing them your existence. People are exhausting, and so is life.
It's not wrong to not care. You have your own reasons and perspectives, and other people just struggle to digest them. In all honesty, it's not healthy to live solely for others either (unless with specific context). Your life is your own, not theirs. And so is your death. <3
No, of course not. Nobody is obligated to continue existing here just because people were selfish enough to procreate, and anyway grief and loss are just inevitable as long as one exists here, like we are all going to die someday and it's so insensitive to expect someone to prolong their suffering when they don't wish to. Those who are against the right to die lack compassion, but I don't understand why you would tell other people in the first place about wanting to die, it won't achieve anything and could possibly cause them to interfere in ctb plans.
