Im pro choice. choose what i want it's your body. but what im going to share with you is pro life ways that can help diminish depression and suicide. now I'm not saying it will save all of you of course. that's unrealistic given how the way the world is right now. but ive tried these methods and they work in my life and I've seen it work in others.

Natural methods of life improvement
  • healthy eating
  • social skills
  • excersize
  • hobby/skills you have a passion for
Unnatural methods of life improvement (this is the dark art stuff but believe me ive tested it and it's worth it if it can give you a second chance at life) (yes there are side effects but you can keep them undercontrol of you do it right)
  • Anti depressents
  • Kratom (natural but illegal in some states)
  • Steroids (Dbol specifically)
All these methods have beaten or atleast kept depression at bay for me and other people's lives. Give it a try before ctb'ing. There are methods to help. Unless you've tried all these methods you have not given 100% effort in the fight.

Feel free to ask me any questions regarding this thread. I'm here to help.

Your list of natural methods of life improvement, is only valid when one has to the energy to do said things.

Depression takes every ounce of energy out of you.

That's where the dark methods come into play. they give you the energy to do stuff.

I don't really agree with your metric, but I will say that for all the natural methods of improvement, I've tried and it hasn't worked. Social skills, well I just don't have them and I do blame Aspergers and social anxiety for fucking up my life, making it challenging just to function in day to day life. In fact, I felt like that my social skills are always playing catch up because I fell behind during my development stage in life (childhood to early adolescence) so it becomes nearly impossible to catch up to what the majority people are, let alone my conditions that just make socializing difficult (Aspergers, social anxiety).

I have exercised quite a bit, and while it does keep my body healthy (physically speaking) as well as eating healthy, it doesn't really help that much more with my situation. I'd say my depression and problems is more circumstantial and situational than a chemical or mental one. Therefore, the unnatural methods of improvement would not help me (it would not solve the root problems of my cause of depression and other woes, but merely just mask the symptoms and serve as a temporary distraction from them).

Never tried Kratom, as a horrible binge drinker tho idk how good of an idea that is for someone with a hx of addiction.

As for the rest, yeah, been there done it. Only thing left that I havent tried is electroconvulsive shock therapy (legit, ive tried every single thing else. 10+ meds, 10+ therapists in 27 years, cranial electro stimulation, audiovisual entrainment, even a fucking PTSD task trained service dog). But at this point I'm too tired and up shit's creek to far to try anything else.

It's time to CTB.

I got the Red Bali cuz it said it was best for anxiety. I think it might've helped some last night. Took it again today but didn't really get much. Then again my anxiety is so bad nothing really seems to help it.

I'm not to familiar with anxiety. mainly battle depression. it's all trial and error. the frustration of never finding relief after so much is the reason we're all here. last ditch effort I guess

I'll reiterate my personal stance in response - why is there the implicit assumption that we need to 'try everything else' before we CTB?

I don't understand why there seems to be this need to make suicide seem justified by experience. If you don't want to try to get better even if you've only tried 5% of all possible options, how does that make your decision invalid? For instance, I've been to a couple of therapy sessions with the university's consulting therapist, and found him to be useless. I have looked at the cost of therapy in my country, and concluded that it's too expensive for me, considering that I've now gotten myself into a position where I cannot get a good job. Thus, I have concluded that I will not be able to lead a decent life comparable to the people around me, and thus I've decided that I would like to CTB. I don't see why suicide needs to be treated like a 'last resort' option - it seems perfectly rational to treat it like any other choice in our lives.

TL;DR I don't see why we need to wait for things to get impossibly bad to CTB. I know my life is headed for the dumps, I would like to end it before it gets there. Yes, I do have a pretty decent life now in terms of amenities available to me, but I don't see why I should have to avoid CTBing because of that.

Also, note that the example is just that - an example. I hope that the central abstract point remains clear.

I secretly admire the people who can CTB without "trying everything", calmly committed in their certainty that it will not get better, not be worth it, no thank you, may they please be excused, they have business to attend to elsewhere and they shall not be delayed, not for hope, not for you, not for anything, goodbye.
I especially envy when young beautiful people do it, only because they are rejecting so much in their own lives that other people want, like they know they are capable of achieving the so-called "best that life has to offer", but they have seen it and it does not impress them at all, may they please be excused?

I know that's an idealized way to see it and they are in as much pain as everybody else, but I am so angry at myself for being too scared to do it young, when I knew all life would ever contain for me is pain and frustration. I envy young people who don't give in to SI and cowardice like I did, they just decide they're done, and go. No lingering for the next painful incident.

So where are you today exactly? I remembered you're having a hectic few days. Has your plane landed?

As I mentioned before, those methods are not bad itself. The problem is pro lifers make those methods as a unique solution for everyone, which of course is not right. Most people, unfortunately, suffer from prolonged depression and sometimes they can't even force themselves to do something like that. What about people with terminal desease ? This won't help them. And the ones who lost someone ? Like I said, this is not unique for everyone. It can't get you out of strong depression and of course it can't resurrect dead person. Yea, those hobbies and other stuff might be a good advice for those who just begin to suffer, maybe it can distract them at least. Not gonna judge you or criticise, it would be just better for me if pro lifers simply could say "well, let me get this straight : I have no solution for your problems. Sorry that my advice did not make you feel better". Would be fair enough instead of spreading their eternal lies on me

Are you actually so stupid as to believe there is a single person on this forum, who is at least 18 years old and has never tried these methods? Do you really think that?

I get it, being pro-suicide is a taboo in our society. That is the only reason I can think of for you to post something as stupid as this.

Do society's taboos really decide for you what is right and wrong?

I speak for most if not all members of this forum when I say that I've suffered way too much and way too long at the hands of fanatics who believe life is some sort of 'gift from God' and that not being happy with it is a 'sin'.

Get out of here with your pro-life bullshit, trying to mask it up as 'pro-choice'.

I wish I could go back to November last year and tell myself to stop being a whiny bitch, tighten the noose and lean. I was so damn close.
So where are you today exactly? I remembered you're having a hectic few days. Has your plane landed?
I'm at home, drying a mountain of clothes that I couldn't be bothered to wash before. I have a day to do that, before I go to another city for a semester working at some misbegotten consulting firm.
I'm headed for a shitty job at a shitty company. All I want to do is find the spine to finish my game, put it on Steam and then CTB. And this time, I pray that I can find the spine to go through with it.
