I really don't recommend it. Idk how someone would determine ahead of time how much of a benzo (you mentioned Xanax) and how much alcohol he would need to CTB. The cases I've heard of are unintentional deaths.

It's not a myth that the alcohol + benzos combo can be lethal. Opioids + benzos is another dangerous combo, and many people have died from alcohol + benzos + opioids. Still, the fact that some people have died unintentionally from such combinations doesn't mean a layman should be confident in his ability to determine what would constitute a lethal cocktail for him.

For every famous musician or celebrity who dies of alcohol + benzos, there are likely dozens more who've had such a combo without dying.

i mixed it impulsively when i didn't get into my dream uni because i wanted to feel numb. it knocked me out pretty quickly. i woke up in the morning with a terrible headache and couldn't get out of bed for days. it's not worth it and it definitely won't kill you on its own.

I have thought about this. I tried diazapem with wine and all it did was made me really ill and in hospital over a weekend. It is risky and horrific, if it doesn't work.
