After a lot of thought, I think partial hanging is the way for me to ctb. But I'm restricted as to where I could do it. If I did it in the back of my car, I could lie almost horizontal, then use the handle above one of the rear doors as a ligature. My toes would be touching the floor of the car, then my neck would be in a slipknot, with the rope anchored above it. Any ideas if this would work please?

Well, despite trying several times yesterday, I couldn't find my carotid arteries. I thought I had them, but nothing happened when I applied pressure. My neck is quite muscular, so maybe that's why it didn't work.
I decided that an exit bag (but without gas) would be my next choice. Exit International recommend using a roasting bag, so I went to get some after work. However, despite trying four different supermarkets, none of them had any. One shop assistant did try to assure me that foil would work just as well. (I was trying to picture how that could possibly work before I realised that the assistant thought I wanted to cook a chicken!). Instead of buying some roasting bags, I've arrived at home with some bananas and a packet of doughnuts! So that's two methods to ctb that I've had to dismiss. My next two methods are jumping and train. I'm not keen on the train idea, but it's a long journey to somewhere suitable to jump (ironically, I would need to take the train to get there!)

I ordered some from amazon....where are you in the world?
I fear even this method will fail too. Which will really frustrate me. If I had the fortitude and determination to hang, I would be gone by now. Lost two friends to hanging , one was partial. I don't know how she did it. I takes so much will...you can always stop. I need something more peaceful.

I'm in the South West of the UK. Hanging is my preference as well - I bought a rope this week but it's only 7mm thick so don't think it will support my weight, but would have been OK for partial. From the threads on here, it looks like the placement of the rope is critical but I can't get it right.
It seems there's lots that could go wrong with SN as well, which is why the train or jumping are my next options. There's a cliff that's nearly 600ft high in the UK - I don't think much could go wrong if that was jumped from. The dilemma will be whether to buy a return train ticket, or if a single will be OK.

I'm in the Midlands. I've looked at Beachy Head too. I don't think I could jump, but if I drove and took a bike, I could ride off it more easily I think - just close my eyes for the last few meters! I'm probably going to full-hang whilst ODing on opiates, benzos and barbs to hopefully be less aware of what's going on.

Good plan. I like to think that I could jump, but who knows? Seems a bit of a waste of a bike to ride off it.
Have you thought of a time and location for you to ctb?

Are you sure there aren't any other options? This is the last thing you'll ever do afterall. No reason to half-ass it. I'd be afraid I wouldn't put enough pressure on the ligature, or that someone would find me.

I'm planning on doing it in a motel room, from the doorknob probably. Are you sure you can't find a place inside to do it? Hell, even a tree in a remote area would make me feel more comfortable.
