My landlady just yelled at me for a bunch of stupid shit.

I'm shaking and crying and hyperventilating.

I got my ratchet ligature out of its hidng spot, it's around my neck. I'm so fucking tempted to die right now.

I hear you. The management of my building has turned the heat way down this winter. At first, I thought it was an innocent mistake or an issue with my vent and I filed a normal maintenance request. It's become apparent, though, that they've deliberately turned it down and when I pointed it out I got a nasty message cc'ing everyone in the complex and basically gaslighting me and accusing me of not knowing how the heat works. It really makes me feel awful, in part because it's so typical of how I get treated. People think they can take or do what they want and then attack me if I speak up, and no one says a thing. I really hate that no wants me to stand up for myself. It would be a relief to not have to deal with this anymore.

I'm sorry about what happened to you with that lady. It is important that you stay focused on your interest and your interest is not to act on impulse. Planning is the art of doing things well. Relax.

I'm currently writing a scheduled e-mail to send to my landlady in 2 days. If I decide to CTB, I will hit the schedule button.

I have no family. The e-mail has my friend's phone number as an emergency contact.

I've had the ligature in my dresser for years, sitting there for when the time felt right. I've practiced in the past.
