So I am not a drinker. If I were to drink a 26er of vodka in a short period of time...like 10 mins...could that be enough to kill me?

Depends on many factors
What's in your stomach?
throwing up the vodka
Your weight

its not guaranteed and no one can tell you if it will work. If yore not a drinker, getting it down is not easy.

I think researching a better method and knowing for sure what you want to do is a better plan.

Maybe alcohol combined with the charcoal method be more fitting.

Almost certainly not. My guess is that you would have a mild case of "alcohol poisoning". Meaning cold sweats, shaking and vomiting what you drank or maybe vomiting some bile? (not sure if that is the correct word, the yellow stuff). I suppose there is a chance of you drowning in your own vomit but I'd still say its a long shot.

Holding it down would probably be hard, but I've read about people dying from alcohol enemas, your body absorbs way more through the intestine and you won't risk puking it up. I guess you might have to plug it up though, but at least it won't get in the way of breathing.

I'm not really researched when it comes to this but perhaps together with opiates this would be rather effective and not as uncomfortable as without.

Factually, yes. Drinking that much vodka in that short period of time could possibly cause death.

You would need to calculate your Blood Alcohol Concentration (google it). Once your BAC reaches .30% and higher you are into the coma and death stage. BAC is based upon Quantity over Time and depends upon your Body Weight. For example, someone who weighs 100 lbs would only need to consume 8 drinks within an hour to reach a BAC of .30%. But if someone weighed 200 lbs drank the same 8 drinks in 1 hour they would only have a BAC of 0.15%. In your example a 26er is slightly more than 750ml which translates into 15 standard 50ml drinks. So if you were able to consume a 26er in 10 minutes you would likely die unless you had a very large weight.

But realistically, no. Before you would be able to consume the required quantity you would likely pass out. And thus fail.

Especially as someone who doesn't normally drink. You would likely get sick, vomit, and pass out way before finishing the bottle. Many times when you hear of people dying of alcohol poisoning it is usually in a situation like a hazing ritual. But the person is likely too drunk to continue drinking by themselves and so someone is "helping" the person drink more alcohol.

thanks for all your responses....I would prefer the opiate route but have already failed. It was the day I found out my daughter was dead. I'm on methadone and I pick up once a week. I wanted to drink all 6 bottles at once. but because i picked up 2 days before this, I only had 4 at the time. drank them. went to sleep hoping I wouldn't wake up.. but I did. I would need something strong. I've never done heroin...not that easy to find where I live. That would probably do it
