Im about to be laid off and things are looking bad in tech. Meta is now using screen recording software to train AI agents. Tons of jobs are going to be destroyed in the coming years and nothing will replace them. Its almost impossible to change careers these days, and even trades have the same problems tech has.

I constantly feel depressed and can't enjoy myself and political activism is pointless. Political activists don't get to live good lives, they either die or get jailed. My next job if I can get another will probably be worse than my current one.

There's no hope and even going to therapy isn't helping a ton.

Life is not fair in many ways.
From the the history book you can predict what will happen in the future.

Black people were replaced by industrial machines to end the slavery.
France nuclear plants were powered by African countries' valuable minerals unfairly and with dirt cheap making people living in extreme poverty.
And now AI will replace the manpower completely within the next 5 years.
And keep in my mind all those projects are made by super rich con artist people

This is why I joined this site. To research how to CTB if AI takes all the jobs. I was sad to find that there is no foolproof, reliable, pain-free to CTB.

Unfortunately there isn't, and taking your own life also hurts your loved ones even if its the only solution to end your pain and suffering

I don't plan on doing it anytime soon, but I just know at some point in time things are gonna get worse and shooting myself is a better outcome than ending up homeless or in jail.

The people who try and fight for a better world like Martin Luther King, Luigi Mangione, etc never get to live good or happy lives

It's not good enough to take over jobs, but that won't stop the rich from using it to inflict maximum pain on their workers. Anyway, if you're going to take yourself out, take a CEO with you. There's going to need to be massive, MASSIVE class warfare. Or, no -- there's already massive class warfare. The rest of us need to fight back.

It can't take all the jobs because if this happens people won't have income, people without money is equal nobody spending a single cent on anything else.

So companies that rely on AI will become bankrupted pretty fast, nobody will buy their product after all nobody has a job anymore which means nobody has money to pay for it.

So why to pay for AI to replace humans work after all if there's no more demand for that work? Which means nobody has money to buy it.

If this happens, even companies will go down. Anyone replacing workers by AI are basically shooting its own foot.

If this situation indeed happen Universal Basic Income should come up, which means everyone will have some sort of basic income to survive.

But idk strange times, it's uncertain what will happen, what a terrible time to be alive.

Things can get good as AI doing all the work and humans no needing to work anymore or things can get really bad too.
