Checks out I guess… I feel a lot of anger, but taking it out on others makes me feel worse. I'm avoidant of confrontation, but when people mistreat me it makes it hard to stand up for myself. My pattern is just removing myself instead of acting on it I guess. I do impulsively yet infrequently SH though, that's one way my aggression comes out.

I feel a bit better in knowing that I'm not the only one with a high score. Just because we have high scores doesn't mean we're bad people. It's whether or not we take out our aggression onto others, and what that aggression looks like that determines whether we're terrible. Everybody has anger, frustration, and at times, violent thoughts. The best people of the world are the ones who have these thoughts, and still act kindly towards others while acknowledging that they may not always be perfect and sometimes make mistakes. Those mistakes can be rectified. If not, the best course of action is to learn from them, learn not to do it again, and become the person you wish you could be.

I used to get in a lot of fights. I used to be verbally abusive towards my friends. I realized after many years what I was back then. I can't change the past. Those people will forever remember me as a shitty person. What I can do now, is make sure everyone else I've met afterwards remembers me as the man who, while intimidating in appearance, was funny and gentle. How do you want people to remember you? Can you make that happen?
