After life there is no credible scientific evidence that there is anything after death
Well the closet we will ever get to heaven or hell is right here inside this universe

near death experiences are just hallucinations No one has actually been completely brain-dead and come back to tell us about it.
As far as respectable science can tell, there is nothing once the brain switches off completely.

But that doesn't explain how we came to be in the first place surly if one can come into existence from nothingness and be a biological machine what's to say it can't happen again

How disappointing life is where bought alive to live and die in a very short time and to never exist again or do we reincarnate somewhere in this universe

It's a malevolent universe it does all kinds of death and destruction made to suffer and die lock into a predatory food chain eat or be eaten

No afterlife, no spirit, no soul, no judgement, no punishment or reward, no heaven or hell, no higher or lower realms, no karma or reincarnation, no repercussions, no journey hereafter, no importance to anything done in life once it's over, no dark, no light, no bad, no good, no in-between, just the same permanent and absolute 'nothingness' for everyone... . It would be particularly great for all the Hitlers, and mass murderers, you could just do whatever you like in life, cause unbelievable suffering and harm, be as selfish and greedy as possible, rape pillage and plunder, and then enjoy the same eternal nothingness that others get who made many sacrifices, helped others, and devoted their lives to some kind of greater good.

eternal nothingness the opposite of what life is all about

I do think all NDE's are a lie however from what I read and experienced I dont think what you say is the truth, the Abrahamic God + afterlife is probably true. I hope I am wrong and you're right, I dont want to be conscious in any way or form.

This is the kind of subject that is difficult to discuss. Science cannot prove afterlife existence after death. But It also can't disprove It. No evidences for both sides.

I think we all will find out one day/or not. At least people who claim to had an nde seem to be very convinced about what they've experienced. Maybe its just a beautiful hallucinations in the end though..

Not this again. No one knows. There's no scientific evidence it Doesn't exist too. It's called beliefs. Faith. Whatever. Us humans want evidence. Faith and beliefs are just that. No one knows and we just got too struggle until we die them find out.

The thought of there being anything after death is horrifying. However, I just think that we cease to exist. That is it. There is no evidence of there being anything after death. Once we lose consciousness, that is it for us, we are gone. I believe it to be like how before we were born, time passed and yet we were not aware of anything. Death is freedom from all suffering.

I think you hit the nail on the head. That's literally the only thing we know for sure about it...we were once not alive, then we became alive. I don't see any reason to assume that cycle doesn't continue. I find no comfort in that...I've learned so much about life I don't want to start over.

To be honest, Ive had paranormal experiences in my life. So I can't really say there is nothing. Although before that I used to be a staunch athiest and very rigid in my belief system. But I'm sure there is something, it just might be beyond our comprehension.

But yeah I mean, if you base your perspective on it through the lense of science then, everything ends with the brain and that's it.

Do you mind elaborate what kind of paranormal experience? I do experience unexplainable event few times, I conclude those are only "weird coincidences"

The world as you experience it is the product of your brain. Your brain's sitting in the silence and darkness of your skull, pretty well isolated from the outside world. It gets some chemical, electric signals and it makes sense of them by creating an approximate model of an outside world. When you die, your brain functions halt, "you" and the "world" in which you lived go non-existent. You and your world model are just software. Before birth and after death are the same state.
On the other hand... as you once found yourself
existent in a world after billions of years of non-existence, probably new brains, new minds, new neural networks or other new self-conscious entities will pop up.... at different places, in different times, with different sensory receptors, with different world models. So I think once you die you will be gone forever. But it's hard to say that nothing will happen ever again.
( It's not reincarnation. There is nothing that jumps from body to body. It just the fact that your existence is the proof that self-conscious entities can indeed exist. It is very likely going to happen over and over again. )

It´s true, science cannot prove afterlife existence after death and it also can't disprove it. But science gives me the warm feeling that the probability of an afterlife is almost zero.

I watched some videos on ndes and hoped to learn some less known forms of existence/consciousness. But most of them can be explained naturally and not requiring any supernatural explanation.

Ndes are probably real (as hallucinations are real) but they are what people experience when dying, not return after death. If they can report what they have experienced, their brains have not been fully dead. I guess the brain can last for quite a while (as in induced coma) with very low activity and oxygen supply, which may appear as brain dead to those who believe it. The change in personality after nde is probably due to changes in brain circuits (some parts of the brain are really dead). Hearing conversation of nurses and doctors could be caused by some of our senses and subconscious brain not fully disabled by anesthesia.

Even if afterlife, other worlds, reincarnation exist, it is still unknown if people will be punished or rewarded there for what they do here.

I just hope there's no afterlife, I'd trade all my good experiences for nonexistence

I keep reading more into this as my ctb day gets closer. I have mixed emotions about possible reincarnation. There is always a chance of a better life but of course there is a chance of an even worse life. Not sure if an afterlife exists or just nothingness. I'll be finding out soon.
