I believe our conciousness is freed from our physical bodies and one of 3 things happen:
1. We experience nothing, like passing out but for eternity, no pain, just peace.
2. We reach another realm, freed of physical limitations, constantly changing and experiencing.
3. We reach a concrete afterlife, whatever you believe in you get in to.

Absolute nothingness. We're gone forever. We get this life and that's it, whatever we choose to do with it is our final decision.

There's also evidence of the brain releasing DMT at death (One of the most powerful psychedelics we have) so that's an interesting point, maybe it helps us cross into the beyond

We move onto what's next, your soul is a never ending energy source that cannot be extinguished, your body is just a vessel for your soul to walk the physical world and interact with it,we are light beings as has been said by countless ancient civilisations throughout history, the Mayans said it,the Aztecs preached it,even the Egyptians, indus valley knew it and many more before them such as the annunaki, the ancient Indian tribes the ancient chinese and Israeli civilisations and the Sumerians tried to tell the world it,I almost died when I was 18 through accidental overdose and what I saw during it changed my perception of death, since then ive always known we go somewhere but I just don't know where but it certainly ain't the end far from it,think of it as like waking up to start a new life but one that's not physical, our souls has to go somewhere and all ancient civilisations who believed in this say our souls return to an area in the pegasus star area supposedly a world where all souls return to. The Annunaki say this is where our true home lies and that is why a lot of humans don't feel at home on earth as this ain't our real home and our subconscious knows it,ive read every book from over 6 different library's on all this and more trying to figure out the truth of it all since I was 18 till now and I'm 46 now,so don't fear death, just be nervous of not knowing where it is your going on your final journey as that's all I am,just nervous from not knowing where I'll end up or what it's gonna be like getting to there,we all have to wake up 1 day, anyone who says it's final and nothing after that obviously doesn't understand what their soul is,even scientists agree our souls energy cannot be extinguished by anything in the known universe,it's a unique energy only humans have and it cannot be harvested, trapped, used up or controlled, even shaolin monks has proven our souls capabilities by performing Rainbow body and ascending their souls which makes their body's appear to shrink and fold in on itself leaving not much behind during intense meditation that can last months, one shaolin monk Master who did it all his students said when his body finally disappeared they saw a beam of light flash up and out from his crumpled robes straight up to the heavens and that's when they realised he had fully ascended and was gone, there's plenty online about all this and when you research it proper over decades like I have it opens your eyes to a lot of impossible things that now seem to be possible and not so far fetched,I know some may laugh at what ive said, but what ive said is true as has been said throughout history by proper ancient civilisations who were no fools

I believe when we die we are just gone.

But then at the end of the world when Jesus returns we will all rise again physically from the grave/dust and be judged. Those who believe in the gospel that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) will live forever, not in "heaven", but physically (without pain, sin and sorrow) on a literal physical restored new earth and universe (2 Peter 3:13) and those who rejected the gospel will die a second death (Revelation 20:14) and then be gone forever (not eternal "hell" in the mainstream concept).

well in all fairness, I have died before, and there was nothing. I may not have been brain dead however. My heart did stop beating, but they did chest compressions until the opiate had been reversed, and I could breath on my own again. I myself do believe in an afterlife. Our behavior in this life determines the state of our afterlife.

Non-existence, like before birth.

I wish I could go there soon, I feel so bad here.

I hate this place and that I've been stuck here for 30 years

I always and only believe death to be non-existence, nothing more than an eternal dreamless sleep where this cruel, torturous existence I always saw as the most terrible mistake is finally all forgotten and I'd just always prefer to not exist than suffer but of course all the cruelty and suffering of existing just continues, as long as I exist I really will just hope to not exist. For me non-existence really is all that's positive and desirable, I only hope to be unconscious for all eternity with no more pain and no more suffering and I'll always find it so painful to exist, non-existence really is all that can bring me the relief I search for and I'd always prefer to not exist than suffer so unnecessarily with no limit as to how unbearable this existence can get just waiting to die anyway.

I've read a little about the rainbow body. I read a book about Taoism in my teens and it talked about Chinese alchemists that became immortals. I wanted to follow that path in my life but other stuff got in the way so now I don't think I will achieve such feats in my lifetime plus I have haunting regrets and bad memories that living with them forever would equate to endless mental torture anyway.

I don't think being immortal would be good for anyone as 1 life is more than enough, imagine living multiple lifetimes watching everyone you got close to die leaving u alone in the world lifetime after lifetime, that will be some next level mental problems for real, they had it good in the early days where the average life span was upto 40 years old, them was the days as who really wants to grow old and end up with so many problems you just wish you was dead day by day,it's not good,we should have laws that dictate once u reach 40 u can pass away with governments help to do so,not these laws where they do everything possible to stop you moving on then call you a person with mental health problems just cos u want to die, that's outright BS in the finest degree, I wanna die but I'm far from having mental health problems, they just say this as a control method to get us into a local mental health place so they can profit from our imprisonment, once again proving its just all about making money in this world, disgusts me on the next level it does
Yyeah damn rights
Hopefully another dimension full of animals
,humans are just too corrupt,so much that ive come to the conclusion that whoever created us they created us as a weapon of mass destruction to kill all species on a planet and then that planet aswell as that's all humans seem to do,this world will be like hell on earth in a mere 200 years because of humans,we are like a cancer that just doesn't know how to stop, sometimes I wish I studied human dna and bioweapon programmes as a kid,id of dedicated my life to creating a human targeting dna bioweapen that was incurable to stop us destroying earth and all it's nature,1 day it has to happen or we will kill earth good and proper

Nothing. That's what I believe. No lights, no judgement, no second act. Just a hard stop. Like sleep without dreams. I hope there is no awareness, no waiting room, no return. It's not frightening to me. People cling to stories because the idea of being erased terrifies them. But I think that kind of silence is the only mercy this world has to offer. I don't believe in an afterlife. I hope there isn't one. Just black.

Sometimes I fear that nothing changes. What I mean is: in this world I die, but then slip over to an identical world where I didn't die and everything is the same and I'm not aware of what happened.
