I find it worse when they "try" and help you, it ends up being a conversation on comparing their sufferings to yours, basically all about them.
I remember an ex boyfriend once said to me. I think u just don't want to be happy. I was like are u serious? Lol!
I hate the old, "What do you have that you even stress about..." yet they know VERY little to nothing about you.
"Drink water." lmao.
That kind of turned into a joke between my brother and me, though.
At this point I hate so much the standard "see a therapist" or "get on meds" advice. People will not accept that these things don't help everyone, and that there are certain circumstances of my life that cannot be changed by therapy or meds.

It's her position that there are no rational suicides, that suicidal people just haven't learned how to deal with our lives. And, of course, drugs and therapy would change this...

I can't remember if I got that link from this site or not... but anyway that post is super enraging but the comments mostly all disagree with her so it's very cathartic to read.
