Hi all, I'm looking for some advice. I am a 22 year old woman wanting to CTB. It is an informed decision I have come to through after many years of suffering with mental health and autism, and trying lots of different therapy and meds.
I want to do this as quickly as possible, because I am being scrutinised by my family who know I'm not in the best state of mind. However my number 1 concern is that this attempt DOES NOT FAIL, given my past experience being left injured and being placed in a mental hospital for 1 and a half years!

I think drowning is my best option. My current plan is either to try SWB in the river next to my house or to travel to the sea, take two weeks worth of zopiclone (sleeping pills), and swim out as far as I can knowing I won't be able to swim back.

Please let me know your thoughts on which of these, if any, would be most likely to work. If neither, I am open to other suggestions that are hopefully reliable and simple.

Thanks friends!

Yes, and then overdosing on paracetamol and drinking bleach. I didn't actually jump though, because the police turned up

I wouldn't be able to access that I don't think, even though I have been treated with that as an antipsychotic in the past. I could probably get some benzodiazepines on prescription if they're better…

First of all, I'm not your mom but I will say that suicide is a terrible idea. Unless you are 100% sure that you want to do this without a shadow of a doubt, don't even think about it. If you need a friend, I'm always here for you, don't hesitate to message me.

Second, drowning is a painful experience from my knowledge. If you're going this path, at least do it while being semi-unconscious. If I were to CTB through drowning, I would drink 2 liters of vodka and sit on a bridge until my body falls into the water by falling asleep/losing balance.

Lastly, feel free to share your pain and suffering in this forum as we try to help you/find solutions. I know that majority of people here will suggest you to end your life but please don't listen to them, they are just as depressed as you are.

Thank you for your concern and compassion, unfortunately I am now 100% sure I want to CTB as I have had many many years of therapy, meds and trying my best to work on myself to think it through. Believe me, this is not an impulse decision. I am looking for a way to go that is as painless and reliable as possible.

You mentioned SWB. This thread explains it very well. Also take a look at this and this videos. It will not fail if you understand it. It is painless.
