I can't stop eating these loacker wafers *nom nom*. I swear I'm severely addicted, these things are expensive because it's a rare flavor and I'm not telling because I want them all to myself. But this isn't the only addiction I've had, I've gone through numerous other sweets where I stuff myself full of them nonstop for months. I've done home made ginger soft cookies baked them everyday for months, ube purple ice cream, frozen rasmalai, mini powdered donuts, cereals, ferrero rocher, Starbucks copycat cinnamon crumble cake... if I ate any of those now I wouldn't care, but I got severely addicted to each one before. So right now for the last 3 months it's this loacker wafers, probably spent hundreds of dollars so far. They're not overly sweet, they're light fluffy crispy creamy pieces of heaven. They make a hazelnut flavor which is delicious too I also get that one lol

My dad's diabetic, his mom was too. Before his diabetes he drank tons of soda for months. I'm hypoglycemic already... dr says I'm a high risk for diabetes. I hope I get diabetes so I can ctb with it, like not take insulin and have a seizure and dieeee! If I don't ctb before then.

I also have IBS, it just started acting up horribly this past December. Now I have a bunch of OTC pills and lactase enzymes so I can keep stuffing myself. But I suffer every week with some GI flare. I am self sabotaging. These things plus my opiates smoking makes me the happiest girl in the world for 5 minutes lol

I can relate to craving sugary substances. I am at high risk for getting Diabetes too. Most of my family have it and I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome which naturally makes my body insulin resistant.

My addiction is lollies in the sweets department. I've eaten a lot of them tonight. Sugar is addictive. I guess I'm an addict.
Eating something sweet gives me a quick fix of pleasure and if I eat a lot I get a rush.

My Mum CTB because of complications due to having type 2 Diabetes.
It gave her Cirrhosis and she ended up dying at 69 painfully choking and spitting up her own blood before CTB without any intent.

Sugar is seriously addictive. I still eat it though I shouldn't. I believe most of us eat too much carbohydrate and sugar in particular. T2 diabetes is like autism: we are all on the scale, we are all becoming diabetic as we age.
I have many symptoms of diabetes but my blood sugars are consistently normal. I believe that after a life of alcohol abuse and eating crap that I'm, shall we say, somehow metabolically challenged. The doctors think it's all in my mind as my blood glucose is normal.
How do you become hypoglycemic? Is it reactive hypoglycemia? I suspect I have that but they won't test me for it.

I honestly think sugar is the only thing I've had trouble giving up. I like candy more though than baked sweets though, I haven't had any health issues around it though, and despite both my parents having horrible diets neither are diabetic. It's really surprising my father isn't as he keeps a cupboard full of candy and sweets and is 66. I like sour, gummy, fruity, and like Mexican candies.

Sugar is my drug of choice... well, one of them lol. I used to balance it out, but recently I just consume without moderation.

ohh you guys reminded me of my fruit roll up addiction! I used to search and crave for sweet fruity red candies, I had dreams and ideas of making my own at home. I ate a ton of fruity candies for years... never got over it from childhood

Not sure tbh.. you can't detect it sometimes so it doesn't show up in my blood... I use my dad's glucose monitor and it's low and I can feel it, I start shaking and jittering, confusion, extreme hunger pain and emptiness, hands shaking, almost fainting... this isn't normal hunger for me it just started happening 3 years ago :hihi: I had a blood test done when I was feeling normal so I guess it showed normal, or maybe I'm not there yet but starting to

I relate to liking sugary sweets. I've been drinking Coca Cola everyday since I was a teenager. It's destroyed my teeth. I have several metal amalgam fillings now and they feel horrible stuck in my teeth. The enamel is completely gone so my teeth are extremely sensitive to everything now even just the air. Constant pain and aches and when I go ti the dentist they say everything looks fine. It's so frustrating.

I eat surgery things almost every day. It really is a problem as it drains my energy.
