Hello,
I don't know how long this site will last and despite the fact that I am still kicking and breathing, this site has helped me tremendously. That being said, I also don't know if SN will still be available once the government cracks down on its purchase.
I was wondering (if it doesn't violate the standards and policies of this group) if anyone would be interested in organizing locally and making our voice and cause be heard? I know this is a sensitive and private matter so if you are interested, I was wondering if there was somewhere where we can gather and spread the seeds of the right to die for everyone.
You don't have to disclose anything about yourself. In fact, it would be better if we were to find a way to avoid that risk of pro lifers and breeders disguising themselves to find us.
Nevertheless, if anyone has any ideas on how to organize resistance, please enlighten me.
We can't stay as a fringe group.
I have long wished to die and I have my reasons for holding back at the present moment, but eventually I know I will die by my own hand.
Until then, I want our ideology and cause to find and claim its place in society because we are a massive number of people. The number of suicides is immense as well as those who are like minded but have never had a chance to voice or even know about our ideas.
We have to ensure that we are not just another Jonestown or church of euthanasia even though society will try to defame us as such. We have to be convincing and pressure political institutions to give us all access to euthanasia (not just the terminally ill).
The right to die peacefully, safely, and with dignity should be a right everyone deserves.
Aim for the higher ups. But to do that we need clout and we need actual organization and activism.
I am willing to take that step. But multiple brains are better than one.
Again this shouldn't make anyone feel pressured. It's just a way to keep our cause alive.
Because who knows how long this site will last. That way if we fall, we can get back on our feet together again and form new avenues of resistance.
Again, if this is against the group's policies, I understand. And wonder if anyone is interested in doing this in a separate spot to avoid jeopardizing our privacy and identity.
There's a group called the right to no longer exist on Facebook and I feel our idealogies are very similar.
I am reaching out to this group because I know that our numbers are greater and we can build an international solidarity worldwide.
