It's a strange feeling to just give up … the fight just leaves you… and what are you left with ? A phantom existence … going through the motions… pretending you're alive to others … keeping the truth hidden …. It's too deeply weird and disturbing… but they can hear it in your voice or the way your body moves … the empty rasp and old man shuffling feet…

I heard people saying these things about psychedelics so I decided to try myself. Granted the ones I have done have all been natural, not synthetic, but I have been quite underwhelmed. Despite tripping multiple times on a couple different substances, including 2 trips on a natural form of DMT, I still can't relate to any of the stuff that people claim they do. "Dissolving ego" is just an abstract concept to me.

Some of the trips were nice but feels like I didn't get my money's worth.

Nah, I'm skeptical. I already put a lot of effort into this. Plus I'm kind of tired of the "holier than thou" mentality among psychedelic users. Getting synthetic substances requires either knowing people in person or buying on the dark web. Natural ones are easier to get because law enforcement doesn't really care.

The only other thing I'm thinking of trying, which I haven't done yet, is magic truffles. I have heard of people having great trips on psilocybin, and truffles are a legal loophole.

Personally shroms did nothing to me really, above stomach pain and feeling incerdibly sick. It was not even introduce to synthetic stuff. Waste of time.

Are you talking about mathematics, or is there something else going on besides that? I can understand being discouraged, but please don't consider yourself defeated by math. A lot can be accomplished in 7 months if you get some help with it. And help is out there.
