It hurts my heart that the last thing he said was he was laying there scared.

i know. and im usually on and i didnt see it. i wish we could have been here for him
i know when im ready, i would like someone talking to me thru my phone from here.
I dont want to be scared and alone. and hopefully he wasn't maybe he texted a friend

denied him his last comfort. i hope he had a beautiful transition.

Understandably! But from experience when i attempted they (ex friends amd such) used to say things to me that made me regret or feel bad or double think. Id really would not like that if i had a few moments to live! Just let me be with my own thoughts and coming to terms with the peace.

oh so you had a negative recourse from an attempt. Yeah, i can see your logic with that. These SN deaths hit me harder because thats the way i want out. i guess i would just want someone or believe that someone cared maybe for once in my life. i could feel that before i slipped away

Do you guys think it's possible to have a group/category called volunteers or something filled with people who volunteer to be online on the forum with someone when they ctb? Like maybe when someone is going to ctb and post about it and they want to have company, they can like ping/tag/ do something so that people on that volunteer group get a notification and if any of them are free, they can log online and be with that person. I don't know anything about how forums work, so I don't know if this is doable. Maybe the moderators can help. But anyway just an idea. So no one in future is alone when they need someone..

The problem with this is not everyone online might read everything. Some people are looking for methods, some others something else. If some people would like to volunteer to be with someone, it will be nice if that volunteer group can somehow be alerted. So the person is more likely to get the company needed in the time frame. Tagging it as help is again a hit/miss. Might work depending on who is online at the time. But such cases like latergator's might happen again too. I definitely don't want it to. Anyway, just my 2 cents
