Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Does everyone on this forum who successfully bought SN live in countries where SN is legal..? If not, I wonder how they got it.
some might've got it before it became illegal... some might've got lucky and either lived where it is legal, or got it smuggled with luck, etc.
It's legal to buy and own from where I'm from (SEA) and welfare checks regarding sn purchase don't happen in my country but I guess exports would require special licenses. I'm sure legitimate sources/distributors that export from SEA exist and still sells SN to private individuals but that will highly depend on your import policies and regulation. It's more relaxed here but custom seizures is still possible since the regulations for SN is getting a lot of attention right now.
