Being a woman is so expensive all the time its so draining. I need a new bra all the ones I have were either pass me downs or gifted to me & I check online...they genuinely cost an arm and a leg. I have big boobs at like size 38DDD or maybe a 38G and these sizes are never within a target or a Walmart, so what are some cheap alternatives to say Victoria's Secret or like Jcpenny lol. I would like more attractive designs, but I understand beggars can't be choosers.

sidenote: I don't much like shopping from tiktok shop, shein, or online stores as such simply because I know the quality can be doodoo buns but if theres links or specific store fronts I'll take a gander.

They have a lot in trif/charity shops, from lingerie, sports, etc.

I'm not a woman, but im a volunteer in a charity shop and my colleagues are constantly buying them there and look very happy with it.

cheeky thing you should be hung, drawn, & quartered for not being my intended audience (just kittin ofc :D) but i just did a little search and my nearest one is about ~5hr away (┬┬﹏┬┬)

actually you can size up on the walmart site dear <3 i gave up on everything round last year. i know it gets ridiculous expensive. i had to go for a fitting w jc and prob spent 40$ on one doesn't help the wiring always cracks as well. but yeah, no it's in part of search if i recall correctly to get to the extra sizes. (sending love from another struggler)

I'm ngl I just wear the one from childhood, and they grow with me, but I'm C cup, I know that's probably not possible any bigger. I mean, hey, I've lost all support, but at least my tits don't show

I switched to bralettes and sports bras a few years ago. As all of my underwire bras were wearing out and I refuse to wear underwires ever again. Also recently I got too fat for my bras so I am just going without.

I'm not gonna be a lot of help either (34DDD here, or at least I was back in the day). The single best thing I have ever done for myself was a breast reduction in my late 40s. I felt like I had been set free. Truly. Lol

There are places like Dressed for Success that take donations from department stores (corporation gets a tax write-off and women who need a professional wardrobe but cannot afford it) and also individuals of clothing that is work/professional attire. I don't know of they are just a regional NFP or if they are nation-wide (they are in the US), but you might do a google search to see if they (or an organization similar to them) are available in your area.

I have like a love hate relationship with sportsbras because they either give me no support or they make it hard to breathe for me. I wish I could go braless but the activities I love doing I'd be knocking myself out with my own boobs like muscleman.

LUCKY ! I live in the USA specifically bible belt area so if I want to get a boob reduction I would need a husband to sign off on because "what if you want to breast feed in the future" or "what if your husband doesn't want to powder feed" is a thing. It sucks so bad but its definitely on my to do list in life ~30y/o.

Yep. BTDT. It is ridiculous that in this day and age women STILL have to "get permission" from a man because he "might" be negatively affected by a decision that had serious health ramifications for me (intractable migraine and chronic pain issues from lugging the damned things around since I was 11, 12 years old ... OMG, don't get me started! (Btw, I was WELL past my child-bearing years -- my kids were out of high school. My husband's kids were in grade school and the GP I had to get the referral to the surgeon from was "concerned" "we" might decide to have children later in our marriage. I told that woman in no uncertain terms that if I wound up pregnant at almost 50 SOMEBODY was gonna die ... And that I was perfectly capable of making my own adult decisions, thankyouverymuch ... The NERVE of some medical "professionals" ...

Stick to your guns and don't give up. I have a friend in her 30s who spent 7, 8 years looking for a doctor who would tie her tubes (she doesn't want children). Bless her heart, she finally found one but what the actual fuck?? It is NOT for anyone else to say -- she had her reasons, and she is articulate, educated and competent. Lord, now I'm triggered. It's ridiculous that you have to "get permission" to do things you KNOW are right for you just because society doesn't approve.

i've been losing weight recently and my bra is starting to get too big lmao (i had to buy this one like a few months ago after losing weight and my old one being too big) it's hell lmao i'm probably gonna have to buy atleast a few more within the next like year. atleast like marks&spencers is pretty cheap but idk if they exist outside the uk
