I wanted to ask, how does this poison makes you unconscious so easily?.

I was thinking about it a bit ago and the sudden realization of.
IF I was yet awake as my blood changes, and my organs starts to fail cause of lack of oxygen. just how painful would that be.
made me curious how come and how does you become unconscious when taking sn so easily?

and why is it different than any other method. like for example suffocation, drowning, or any other method that would lead up for lack of oxygen -> death

It alters your blood chemistry such that your brain doesn't receive oxygen. The painful aspect of asphyxiation stems from the accumulation and inability to release carbon dioxide (hypercapnia or hypercapnic response). There are other unpleasant aspects but it's not like blocking the trachea or drowning.

I may be wrong about this but I think that the SN makes you unconscious by preventing the haemoglobin in your body from transporting oxygen around. This is different to other methods like drowning because, in the case of drowning, your CO2 levels increases which triggers the hypercapnic reactions that in turn causes a lot of pain and a lot of SI. With SN, the hypercapnic reaction doesn't trigger since CO2 levels aren't increased which makes SN much more peaceful than methods like drowning.

so then the usual pain in suffocation methods is because of the built up co2.
I suppose digging into more people who have done this does indeed seem better than your usual ways...which are pretty painful.
suppose by 30 minutes your organs wouldn't fail and perhaps your brain will shut down before you even notice *that* stuff, since brain is way more sensitive to oxygen levels anyways.
interesting. it does make it easier to understand but jeez I guess I still have this fear with in me. despite looking around it seems to be fine.
I suppose I'm mostly worried about not taking any pills...and I know but I really don't have any alternatives to this.
and also just thought of sleeping never waking up is slightly crazy and scary by itself too all things considered
