• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

At first it's just a puff,
Just a drink.
But as your condition worsens,
You turn to it more.
You only think of the pain,
And how to make it stop.

You don't notice what's happening,
Only that you're not hurting.
Your loved ones see,
Begging you to save yourself.
"oh I can stop"
Instead start to panic.
Finally realizing what happened,
But it's too late.

You try to stop,
Getting a fleeting taste of freedom.
The pain comes back,
So you pick it up again.
It doesn't feel the same,
Your escape now a hell of its own.

Freestyle poetry about my struggles with addiction.

Being able to capture truth artistically can help others as well as possibly helping bring it more into focus for yourself.

Alternative (lesser) addictions might be useful. AA meetings can have a lot of coffee and cigarette use.
