is a 9mm and hollowpoint enough? I have never handled a gun before. I understand I need to aim for the brainstem. Is this better achieved through the mouth or behind the ear? how should the gun be held when i am aiming towards myself?

pros- i have an mri scan of my head and know exactly where my brainstem is
cons- i am small frail and weak. will the gun kick and move?

I wish I had better advice, but I don't know much about guns. Shotguns are definitely the best but handguns can work too. I've heard that roof of the mouth is the most reliable, but many people have succeed with aiming at their temple/ side of their head. Hollow point bullets expand upon impact and generally cause more damage than say fmj ammo. I hope others that have more knowledge can chime in and help. Best of luck,

9mm gun and hollowpoint bullet. id also like to know if i can be lying down when i shoot
If you have no idea, don't! If you are weak and frail, organs can shrink like the brainstem etc.
Lie down, take photos - oh dear šŸ™ˆ

Is there not any way you can take the gun to a range and shoot it first in order to get comfortable with it and the recoil? A 9mm has a pretty good kick, especially for someone who has never fired a gun previously. Obviously, or maybe obviously, anyway, a shotgun with buckshot is going to be far more certain when it comes to taking out the brain stem as opposed to a single slug from a handgun, hollow point or not. Personally, I think it's a gamble with a handgun, even if you think you know where your brain stem is. If you're off just a little, you may only nick the stem. I think the odds of success would be the same either going through the mouth, or firing through the skull behind the ear. I have no idea what those odds are. Bone can cause slugs to do "funny" things - deflection - and make the slug change course. People have survived shooting themselves in the head with handguns. There may even be an instance or two of people surviving shotgun blasts to the head, but far less than handguns.

i really didn't want to comment on this. remember, you will also be holding the gun in a manner that it wasn't designed for. if you insist on trying, remember to use both hands.

With a gun it's like a gamble, i sudjest to use a shotgun or another CTB method.

It's very possible to die with most any gun, but most here would recommend nothing less than .45 (hollow point) for caliber and many will swear by nothing less than a shotgun. If you are anything less than a gun guru I'd sway this way too. If you think a shotgun would be too unwieldy for your size/dexterity (valid) I'd strongly advise a higher caliber handgun if deadset on this method. In mouth at upward angle targeting brainstem is ideal by consensus but I've seen a compelling case or two for behind ear. I wouldn't sway from consensus here personally

A large caliber, like a 45, or a shotgun, inserted into the mouth and aimed slightly upward is guaranteed.

if you can't do this, make sure the gun is EMPTY and get yourself familiar with the force needed to pull the trigger. some take almost nothing at all while others need more.
