Philippines. Idk why suicide rates here are low. Everyone seems depressed.
Maybe it dépends on yr culture and how you sée suicide or thé way you deal with dépression in yr country cause i Guess it's différent " maybe "

when you say 3rd world, i think of places like afghanistan. oddly enough i saw a video where there is a heroine problem there. i always thought that was for people that made a good salary. apparently, they make it there so there is that ease of access. have no interest in h at all unless it was cut with a lethal amount of f. i'd take a few of those just to be sure. there must be a few countries we never even heard of that will turn a blind eye to what we seek.

Except we're getting far worse in a short time, I'm well aware the US is pretty crap in itself but here, I don't see any good reason to even entertain the idea that the future will be anything better than what I'm seeing currently, it's a fucking shitshow.

I don't doubt what you're saying at all. I think it's pretty much going down all over the world. There's been a shitshow going on here for the past 20 years, at least, with no signs of letting up. I was alive in the 1970s and I remember things being so much better. Things were harder then in some ways, but they were better, if that makes any sense. We didn't have all the bullsit we have now and things were just so much simpler back then. It doesn't matter what political leanings you have, just about everyone is corrupt and only looks out for themselves. The poor are getting much poorer and the rich are getting richer hand over fist by taking the little the poor have. Mass shootings are occurring every week, or more. It's insane that the powers-that-be even call this progress.

In fact, the downward trend of our society seems to be rapidly gaining as time goes on. I agree though, at the end of the day, everyone is out to get what they want and don't carr about anything else, the rich have no qualms about how much more they have to take because greed never takes a backseat in satisfaction. Yeah the Mass-shooting stats are insane, the saddest one I looked in detail was in the one that happened in Uvalde, Texas last year, I watched footage, voice tapes, etc... I watched it all and it was grim.
Call me a pessimistic but I don't see society getting any better, in fact, I don't see how humanity will be better at the current of how we conduct ourselves socially and morally for the most part, this is one of the reasons why it's harder for me to see any reason to stick around because of all of all it, it's either I die now by SN or live a few more years or decades but see more and more of the same old bs unfold and get even worse.

Completely agree.
Yeah Sandy Hook was just absolutely and absurdly evil and cruel, To kill 20 children, who had their whole lives ahead of them to at least live something of a good life out and here comes this guy to take it all away, and the adults too who were there to take care of these children as well, nevermind the trauma the victims families have probably never ever gotten over and never will realistically.
That one was truly heartbreaking, not that the others weren't but this was just sadistic and cruel, for someone to forsake all reason to not do something like that is quite frankly frightening when it comes to realizing what humans are capable of in the right circumstances.
People will obviously tell me to be optimistic because its better than being pessimism however why should I allow myself to subscribe to some pointless delusion of pointless optimism when it's clear to see that it won't serve anything other than lying to myself.

Stay safe (at least from external threats). There are only a few countries in the world that I would not visit today and SA is one of them.

Lived a year on and off in SA, Cape Town, Hermanus. So many amazing experiences. I never had any bother, but I wasn't naive to the potential threat.
